It’s made ok but could do with a proper cage,like a rear mech has to keep the chain in line.Over big bumps chain can come off the jockey wheels,catching the U shaped guides !But you can undo & move the hex bar around,to gain more spring tension see my pics.There’s no instructions as to using or adjusting this,luckily I’m mechanically minded.The top arm section is fixed not sprung it’s not designed that way,it’s only the bottom arm that’s sprung.After a few months I replaced it then realised,how much drag it places on the drivetrain too.Removed one star due to its cheapness,it’s not very well made put away in spares never use again bin !Now own a proper Rohloff tensioner there’s a reason they cost £60+ night & day better !

Firstly it's bit noisy as no greace so need to greace to make quieter and the chain retainers are not good for 1 1/18 chains so you have to mod and make the loops bigger so you don't get any rub, it could of done with a proper cage instead,would also be nice to have some jockeys with bearings rather than these basic ones ..even cheap rear mechs have better jockeys but on the plus once you get past some of those issues it does the job and tensions chain really well ,you can adjust to your chain line no problem ,despite the cage and jockeys its better than other designs I tried ,it could of been the best out there but just let down by basic stuff

Terrible spring loaded section is so stiff to the point it doesn’t actually move and renders it being “spring loaded” irrelevant!!!

I ride is chain tensioner for about 2 months and had no problem with would definitely recommend
