My skin is hyper sensitive to just about every product in the market. Every lotion, face wash, sunscreen, and shaving cream seems to give me SEVERE acne, oily skin, or flaky dry skin depending on the weather. But I'm not gonna get into how difficult it is to shave when I have severe acne all over my jaw line and cheeks. This product has alleviated all of my problems. I have experimented with my diet, products and I am convinced this is the product that has solved my problem. This product has made shaving so easily for me a given me smooth skin and great texture. No more acne, razor bumps or ingrown hairs. I am never using another product. This is my answer and I hope it is yours too. I know everyones skin is different, but this is worth atleast trying. It’s hard to write a negative review when everybody seems to like something, but here goes. The closest thing I can compare this stuff to is the kind of paste I used as a kid, but with a better scent .. it’s thick goo. It coats my face with a slick layer of stuff and leaves it that way into the next day. Touching my face is unpleasant until it’s washed off. I can sense no noticeable value in the caffeine and the whole mess is just unpleasant. If my personal brand of OCD didn’t require me to use up everything I buy, the tube would have been in the landfill about a week after I bought it. YMMV ...

I use this on every client after shaving their necklines, it works great! I ordered it b/c it seemed suitable for most skin types since it has natural ingredients & little/no alcohol in it. I don't notice much of a scent with this product, which is a plus to me. Also use this on children's neckline after using my trimmers, to help sooth any itchiness & actually had a boy tell me it felt very nice! I like the consistency, a cream to serum type (not greasy at all) so it coats the skin nicely as well as sinks in quickly leaving no oily residue. Also use it all over the scalp when I do skinfades etc! I will definitely order more once I run out!

Yes, there are better post-shave products out there, but, that said: I've paid more for aftershave balms that I don't like as much. This is a nice product for the price. I need so little to soothe my freshly shaven face--a dollop about the size of a jelly bean--that a tube this size will last a good, long time. The thickish cream emulsifies easily, spreads fairly evenly, and my skin just soaks it up. I haven't really used it long enough to notice if the "caffeinated claims" are true, or just fun marketing-speak...but ultimately it's not that important, since this balm does what it's supposed to for mere pennies compared to the likes of Taylor of Old Bond Street or Art of Shaving products.

The aftershave works really well. It has a minty smell. Not strong like toothpaste but a refreshing minty smell. I like the fact that it is a little thick. Some aftershaves once applied seems to dissipate after a minute where the skin feels dry and irritated. With this, it is like a thick lotion or almost a paste and stays on the face for an extended period, leaving a comfortable feeling after the shave. I will definitely buy again.

I cant say for sure if I completely buy the fact that the caffeine is doing anything, but I have been using it for a while and i really like it. I am of half black birth and get the short curly hairs that lead to bad razor bumps. For some reason the combo of creamo shave cream, harrys razor, and this aftershave I dont get razor burn anymore and that includes on my head which I shave 3 times a week. Use it its nice!!

I love this stuff! I discovered it at my local Target a while back and really dug the thick, creamy consistency. I shave with a Merkur razor, Feather blades, Proraso pre-shave, a brush and (usually) Taylor of Old Bond St shaving cream. My post-shave routine is a once-over with an alum stick (usually an Omega), sometimes a bit of witch hazel, and a post-shave balm of some kind. Because I have sensitive skin, I tend to like the post-shave stuff that is a bit more substantial. This is definitely thicker and creamier than most aftershave balms (like Proraso's, for example) but it feels much gentler and more soothing to me. Target stopped carrying it and so I've been buying it off and on from Amazon...it's a bit more expensive than it was at the brick & mortar, but I like it enough that it's worth keeping on hand.

While I like the feel and scent of this aftershave lotion, I have to give a one-star review because it's way too thick and clogs pores.I like to shave in the morning, so when I first bought this product I used it before going to the gym. Imagine my surprise when I began to work out, and my whole face breaks out in red, uncomfortable heat rashes. I've never had the issue with anything else I've ever used, and the heat rashes were a result of sweat getting trapped due to blocked pores.It first good on the skin at first, but getting heat rash shouldn't happen--it's a good indicator that this product probably isn't very skin-friendly.
