A great piece of kit
I wanted a precision weighing device for measuring small quantities of cooking ingredients and this does what it says, measuring small quantities accurately. It has a nice case and slips into your pocket easily if you need portability. It is easy to switch between the different measurement modes if you don't want grams. Hard to fault really - I look forward to the day I can get a satnav that works so well!

Tanita 1479Z Mini Digital Scales
Ordered this on behalf of a friend who wasn't very impressed as they are difficult to use, apparently. Bear in mind that this friend is not 'technically-minded' so it could be that a small amount of technical knowledge is needed to use properly. Instructions supplied are fairly basic.
