This is a great book for learoyhe different stitches and will be fun.

I accidentally sent this to a friend's house who thought it was a gift, so I let her keep it! I will get one for myself, soon. Anyhow, she loves it and said she's learning lots of new stitches. She's already made a half a dozen scarves and hats and lap blankets!

I knit, I didn't know how to crochet except one simple stitch. This book explains and shows the stitches. The pictures are very clear. Indespensible for the knitter or the one who crochets. I feel confident that by using this book I can do any stitch the pattern calls for.While I still prefer knitting, I love that now I feel confident to do some crochet!

Wonderful addition to the series !

I have the previous 3 stitchionary books. This one is NO disappointment. I love it! definiteley recommend this series to serious knitters & crochet lovers.

It is wonderful to have an encyclopedia of crochet stitches. I am an experienced knitter and have been wanting to try crochet. This book is very inspiring.

In comparison to the three other volumes, this is very thin and skimpy. The editors at vogue xhose to include very xommon patterns at the expense of highend crocheting patterns. There is not a single unusual pattern in this, or one that cannot be found elsewhere and with more variations. Pretty disappoinring in this respect, especially in comparison to the volume on lace knitting. Lets hope a new edition will change the contents for the better. This edition shows very clearly and very loudly that the vogue editors dont know or dont care much about high end crocheting.

A go-to book for my shelf

Ne ho comprati altri della serie, questo è dedicato all'uncinetto e vale certamente l'acquisto.La forma compatta ad album inoltre è molto comoda da portar dietro nella borsa da lavori.Lo ricomprerei ad occhi chiusi.

Nachdem den ersten drei Büchern mit Links/Rechts Muster, Farbmustern und Zopfmustern so toll waren, konnte ich nicht auf die deutsche Veröffentlichung warten und habe das Buch im Original bestellt. Beim Häkeln ist das ja auch nicht weiter schwer, da die "charts" eigentlich auch ohne Englischkenntnisse verstanden werden können.Ich weiß nicht, ob es am Häkeln liegt, dass es nicht soo viele Möglichkeiten wie das Stricken bietet, aber irgendwie hätte ich mir in Bezug auf die Verschiedenartigkeit der Muster mehr erwartet. Die Seiten werden gefüllt mit einfachen Muster, die man sich auch selbst ausdenken könnte und eigentlich nicht nachlesen muss.Irgendwie enttäuschend! Deshalb leider nur 3 Sterne. Auf den englischsprachigen Amazonseiten wurde dieses Problem auch teilweise angesprochen (habe ich nachher gesehen).

表紙からは想像ができないけれど、中身は、素敵なモチーフの編み方がほとんどで、これがかぎ針なのと思えるものもあります。もちろん英語ですべて書かれていますが、記号の図解が大きくのっているので文章を読まなくてもOK。素敵なedigingsや花、ボタンなども掲載されていて、かぎ針を編むならまずはこの一冊で。
