AP Products013-535 Bauer RV Entry Door Lock, Chrome

I don't have any dislikes, it installed right out of the box without alteration to the door. Replaced the generic pot-metal handle nicely and the keys are easier to work with after the origional one on my 2002 snowey river camper broke off in the lock. It opperates smooth and looks better. Note: the deadbolt is longer than the original lock but still secures the door, just doesn't turn all the way because I didn't want to drill into the door frame

This lock is very solid and looks great. It's much better quality than the original lock that came with my cargo trailer. In addition, the same key operates both the latch and the deadbolt. Thus, it comes with only two keys instead of 4 like many of the other brands. The keys also have an oblong head which make them easier to identify. One item of note is that the outside bezel is about 1/8" wider at it's widest point than my original lock due to the edges being slightly rounded rather than straight, but the lock still fit fine with no modifications needed.

Through a series of very unfortunate events, the door handle to my RV broke off. I currently live full time in the RV so a fully functional door handle is essential. I found this mechanism on Amazon and quickly ordered it. I gave it 4 stars out of 5 because this was much more difficult to install than the package indicated. There were no written instructions included in the box. I'm not necessarily a novice when it comes to things requiring a screw driver or hammer but some instructions would have been nice. The screws to put this thing together didn't quite fit properly, it was like they were too fat to fit into the screw holes and quickly started stripping when I tried to screw them in. I ended up using a lot of the pieces from the old handle to install the new handle. That being said, in the weeks since I installed the new handle, it has worked like a dream. The new handle and locks are very smooth to operate and seem very secure.

Good lock....very easy to install in a matter of minutes (and I'm a retired single lady) Looks good and works great.

Needed to replace the lock on an RV i bought that had a lock which looked like it had been tampered with, and would no longer lock from the outside using a key. This kit solved all of my problems! It looks really nice on the outside, which at first had me worried because my door is white and the original lock and handle was white as well. I was worried that the chrome would stand out too much or "pop", but it doesn't. It looks really, really nice and now i don't even notice it. It looks as if it was always like that! I am not a "mechanical" person, nor do i have an extensive knowledge with fixing" things or DIY stuff...i am a middle aged woman who has to hire people for big stuff, but i was EASILY able to install this on my own with absolutely NO complications. There were no directions in the box, which at first caused me dismay, but i just looked at what i was taking off from the old set and copied that pattern. Easy peasey!

Still looking for a quality motor home door lock.Cant rate less than one star unfortunately.

We bought to replace the lock on a camper we purchased. Was easy to assemble and put on the camper door.

It works for now. Don't like the plastic handle inside. Feels like it gonna break everytime it's opened from inside. Breaks fingernails trying to open it from the inside. You will scrape your knuckles trying to open it from the inside. If by chance you grab the inside handle wrong and try to open it, you will fall down. My wife can't open it from the inside. If I go fishing before she wakes up, she is trapped all day, bonus! It gets an extra star For doing double duty as a restraining device! For some reason I thought it was metal like the stock handle. The outside is nice, shiny, pretty, works well, and has never hurt anyone....yet.
