ASZLBYM7/8-14 HSS Tap And Die Set， UNF Machine Thread Tap And UNF Round Thread Die Right Hand

I've used these once and they did what I needed them to do.

I needed a tap 7/8 X14 tpi for cleaning up threads in my motorcycle. I looked on line and found prices varied. When I found this set offered on Amazon, I bought it as it came as a set for the same price I found taps for. A couple of clicks and it was ordered & paid for. I received it in the time frame it said. When I received it, I used it immediately . It cleaned out the threads easily, without much effort. I have yet to use the die, but when I do, I'm sure it will do the job.

It took a long time to get this coming from China, but it worked perfectly. I had to chase out some galled threads in a 1.5 inch thick steel platform, and with a touch of cutting oil it did the job with little effort.

Used to restore threads on WII Chevrolet truck.

For the price I figured these would be disposable, --- worked as needed and can use again

Does not even work well to chase threads. No way it even starts to cut a new thread

I used this to clean up the threads on 3d printed reloading equipment. I print powder dies and toolheads for my Dillon XL 750 progressive press. Printed in PLA+ they are cheaper than Dillon's quick change kit and stand up to the rigors of use just fine. The threads it cuts are clean and the dies turn in easy despite being plastic on plastic with no oil. The tap came in a plastic case but the die was just wrapped in bubble wrap. For the price and my intended use, I did not need a storage case nor will I complain it didn't come with one.

The Tap and Die are a good quality and an excellent price. Cut through mild steel easily. Thank you.
