Large Lava Rock Cooking Set LR3

I had been going to a restaurant that offers this style of cooking and loved it. The problem being it was very expensive, so I started experimenting at home a couple of months ago. I actually have similar products from other manufacturers, but find these to be of better quality (be wary of granite). I bought four of these so I could have a matching set for guests. What really set this product apart for me was the outstanding customer service. One of my sets had a small pit on the face, causing concern that it might fail under use. The manufacturer sent a replacement immediately. One of the reviewers posted a one star rating, stating that the product was too small. This product is actually as big, if not bigger than competing rocks (meant for single serving). Of course you can't cook a Thanksgiving Day turkey on it, but if one serves pre-seared meats (to cut into bite size bits as you go) with par boiled potatoes and/or vegetables and an extra plate to either eat from or set up what to cook, there is plenty of room and the results are simply wonderful!

Amazing!! Ruins the experience of going out to eat a nice steak when your stone cooks it better at home. The best thing I like about the stones is that it cooks the steaks and fish perfectly even. There's not a piece of meat that is cooked less or more than the other. Great buy!!!

Have cooked Steak Tips on it a handful of times already and very pleased with this lava rock.

LOVE IT!! Went to a restaurant in St. Maarten called the Stone a few years back and love the concept on cooking meat to your own liking right in front of you.

Perfect exactly what I was looking for and more !

The dimensions of the product is not the stone but the wood stand. The stone is small that you can't actually use it for cooking. Nice looking but useless product.
