Cheap, sort of cheaply made but cheaply awesome
I've been a machinist for 20 years so I'm incredibly attentive to detail. These are adequately made to do the job and they are priced right for what you get. The fit and finish is a little wonky but nothing noticeable outside the 6 foot range. Everything on earth has a tolerance and it depends on an items usage to determine what tolerance is acceptable. These do not have to have a .005 tolerance to do the job. You're not going to be standing and staring at these things up close more than a couple times lol They are really awesome with my philips hue or I'd imagine any ambient lighting system. Placed beside my ambient lit 4k hdr screen the screens backlighting is also amplified through this ricepaper like material. It looks freaking amazing. Not bad guys.

Perfect for any home or apartment
Love this product! It looks identical to the photos advertised. It's super cute, easy to assemble, great brightness, good quality, and a great price. This lamp is in my apartment bedroom and it just brings the whole room together!

Cute
Some of the reviews on here are wild. Lol I hesitated to open the box based on some reviews and almost didn’t use this lamp. It’s actually one of the best lamps I’ve ever had in my life. It’s very stylish and easy to assemble.It is fragile so I’m not sure if that plays a role (hello it’s paper) in some people saying it broke. I had zero issues. I do wish the bottom of the lamp could be just as securely put in as the top but that’s just for peace of mind. The lighting is so soft and doesn’t bring that harsh blinding impact some lamps have. Super happy I got this. Best idea I ever had.

Looks great but smelled funky
After assembly, it looks great. Really light and easy to move, plus we love the switch on the bottom to step on.Assembly was easy but the smell on the packaging was funky. Smelled strongly like chemicals and I was worried it would stick around. Thankfully it didn’t. Other than that, it’s great :)

Great Value!
Great little lamp. Not the cheapest on the market, but that's probably a good thing, as it doesn't immediately fall apart after assembling. It's relatively stylish for the price range (as every floor lamp of this style seems to range from stupid cheap to crazy expensive with very little in between). It's also super light weight. The official weight is 4.41 lbs, although I'm sure that's the shipping weight; this thing is so light you may accidentally knock it over like a beach ball. Although likely designed for low light with its 40 watt maximum, I was able to hook this bad boy up with 2 low energy crazy bright 15W 1600 Lumen LED bulbs. I have four of them in my living room and two in my bedroom. Coupled with wifi connected smart plugs, my lighting setup lights up my entire apartment at the push of a button. Works like a dream. Plus, this particular vendor had no problem shipping to California and bypassing the state's stupid "everything causes cancer" Propsition 65 shipping restrictions.

Very poor quality
Light paper is very flimsy. Setup the light very carefully, plug it in, walk out of the room then hear a ripping sound.... the bottom frame ripped out of the paper!! No return options either. Waste of money.
