Sal Do Mar Sea Salt, 16 Ounces

The Mate Factor Unrefined Sea Salt is a great addition to my herbs and spices. I have been reading up on the health benefits of unrefined Sea Salt and discovered this on Amazon. I am very pleased with the price and I was very happy that I could add it to my subscriptions. I read that the unrefined salt can clump and be messy. I have not found this to be an issue with Mate factor Sea Salt. It is a little courser ground than refined salt you usually get but I have been happy with it in my salt shaker on the table. I recommend this to anyone looking for a healthier salt for your diet.

I love this salt. It's hard for me to describe the taste, but I'd say it's more "natural" than your typical table salt. I usually grind it up with herbs and rub in on chicken or something and it's really, really good. I like the fact that it's a bit moist. I've kept it in the bag inside the pantry for about three weeks and it has not shown any signs of drying out. some times the grains get stuck in the seal and it won't close right, but I'm not too worried about that.

As soon as i got my seasalt i dried it according to google internet instructions on how to dry, it is a little damp. I also purchased a small salt grinder, as soon as i dried it and tried it a couple days later on a good meal i will not be going back to the other store bought salt, this type of salt adds so much more flavor its great tasting. This kind of salt is not extremely sharp like store bought salt, to me anyway, my wife loves it also.

I love this salt. No comparison can be make between the taste of this vs regular table salt. Where has this been all my life. I use this as a finishing salt at the end of cooking or on the table, while I use Kosher Salt for cooking.

I discovered this salt when I volunteered at the Glad Heart Farm in Asheville, NC, where the Mate Factory is also located. Hands down best salt I've ever had. I never really cared for salt until I had this, never thought salt could be delicious I am now addicted and swear by this product.

This sea salt has minerals in it. One quarter tsp day covers u as u take calcium supplements. It is natural an I take a natural calcium called Algae cal plus, from the sea. It took me from borderline osteoporosis to normal in 12 months. I will never stop using it

Tastes marvelous on food and it has no additives like table salt. I bought it because I believe that table salt is a farce and could be one of the causes of thyroid problems......we need the REAL mineral iodine and we need enough of it. I don't believe table salt furnishes either.....
