This carrier is very lightweight, yet the construction seems of durable. My iPad fits perfectly in the tablet compartment, and the additional pockets allow transport of cords and a few other small items. Not enough room for a large power cord, but more than sufficient for a tablet cord, which is presumably what one would use this bag to transport. I do wish there was one more roomy pocket, but you can't have everything. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase. It's a little on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for, and I expect it will last.

I've used a few different carrying cases since moving into the 'tablet' realm of technology, but I've never really found anything that works incredibly well. I've tried backpacks, side-bags, even a bag a friend made who's into crafts. Nothing really worked that well, especially not for extended periods - just not enough compact storage.This case is about the best I've found, not only for carrying my iPad but other associated electronics as well. I use a pretty bulky Otterbox case for my iPad, which is a problem for most carrying cases, but this one has a good deal of storage space, even while being padded for protection for other types of cases. I can also put my charging cable in there, as well as my old iPhone (don't use it as a phone much, but it's my main personal mp3 player) and some earbuds. I don't need to fit any school supplies in it nowadays, but it does have room for pens, pencils, or even a small notepad.The main thing I like is the shoulder strap. I like not having to carry my iPad around in my hands all the time.Overall, I definitely would recommend this case, it's a great value for how versatile it is.Additions: The case is also a material that is quite durable. It's compact, yet I've found that the foldaway pocket (an unorthodox but useful feature of the main compartment) is useful for pens and pencils, while the outer pocket is good for anything from notecards, business cards, pamphlets or smaller printouts.

This versatile case made especially for iPads with covers is an excellent buy. It is sleek, durable, and useful. It can hold a phone or an iPod with earbuds in one of its front compartments and a legal-size document or even a small tablet like an iPad mini in the other (there is yet another compartment that can also hold a legal-size document or a magazine as well). It is easy to carry around and light, as I can either use the provided shoulder strap or just take it by hand. But the highlight of this case is its accessory compartment. It allows me to bring my charger cord with my tablet, so that I don't go out to do work on my iPad, only to find out that it is out of charge. This feature illuminates the brilliance of this case--I can bring my iPad, my papers, my iPhone, my earbuds, and my charger cords with me, all in one sleek case. It should also be noted that while the case is especially made for iPads with covers, I have been able to use it with my Kindle. Excellent value for such a life-saver! Just received my new Devicemate DVM1000 iPad carrying bag. It holds my iPad with the rotatable cover. A very well designed carrying bag that has a sleek yet durable feel, smooth zipping mechanism, handle and shoulder strap that's comfortable. Excellent padding where the hardware is well protected.
