New 3x7 Inch DIY Caged Heat Plates Kit

The bamboo board breaks only complain. Would be cool if a second came with it. Easy to dial in and get a good quality product out of these press plates. I ran for a couple hours and it kept up great!

I was very excited to get this press, and I wasn’t disappointed when it arrived. Very solid build, super easy to setup, and double checked the temp. readout with an accurate infrared thermometer, the plate temps. we’re right on. I set mine up in a 12 ton Harbor Freight H-Frame, it fits and works flawlessly. I’ve been using it for 4 days now and I love it. The co. who sells and mfg. it “DabPress” also has reps. on a great forum called fuckcombustion.com, there you can get all the info. you’ve ever wanted or needed not only for DabPress products but anything vapor related, very nice people on that site, especially if your a nube to pressing like me.

A massive bang for your buck. A reliable product that performs. Easy to set up easy to use. Honestly after using these plates for awhile and being bit by the bug I can already see myself upgrading and when I do dabpress will be the company I go with. Absolute steal of a deal.

So far so good. Heavy duty, well machined, easy on the eyes.Fabbed it on an A - frame 6 ton harbor freight press ($80). Decided to bolt the arbor on so the plates wouldnt shift. Shortened the rod and removed one of the support guides for clearance.Shelf is custom and optional, easily made from garage door angle iron.Enjoy😎

I bought these plates with no knowledge of Dabpress at the time. Surprised by the quality of the plates, cable and heating controller. Nicely anodized and quality hardware. Even the packaging is top notch. The bonus is the low price. Excellent value. I get all my rosin pressing gear from them.

This is a great kit for someone who can setup a press and leave it. It is great quality and functionally designed.However, if you plan to use the press with other functions or even to use for a prepress, the caged units are faster and easier to swap in and out.

ended up just buying caged plates afterwards anyways, these ones sometimes dont make perfect contact depending on various factors like if floor is level, press ram is straight etc so just get caged plates with springs and save the hassle

The media could not be loaded.  Seems like it's well built and has good reviews. Setup was super easy as well. However, once I tried to power mine on, nothing happened. I triple checked the power supply was seated correctly. I checked the fuse. I tried another outlet. Nothing. I worked once when I unplugged it from the wall ever so slightly. Not sure if it is just a defective unit, but I can't get it to turn on and stay on consistently.EDIT: Dabpress offered me $15 credit to order a new plug for myself. Hopefully it'll resolve the issue. Still a hassle that good QA would catch before the product reaches the customer. A little more credit above and beyond the cost of replacement parts would help soften the blow.

Not a bad product easy to use and assemble but temperatures are way off from what they say they are. Unfortunately that’s the most important factor to making rosin. Get yourself a temperature gun. Mine were off by 15 degrees!

Just buy it, its metal plates and a controller you dont need some fancy 2000$ press. Shoutout to my boy with the low temp plates who cries when he saw this at work for 1/4 the price.
