Awesome for people who might have trouble seeing, elderly, using dark yarns or just want to knit in the dark :) IBought these as a gift, she will be able to see so much easier what she is knitting with these light up needles. They are long but I think that the fact they light up overrides the length also gives more room to work so that is a bonus as well!

The needles and case are wonderful. Nice smooth, perhaps a bit weak, I'd support your work if it's heavy so you don't snap them. I would have given more stars if I hadn't received the set and only upon using a set I hadn't pulled the tabs and checked previously did I find battery corrosion for two pairs of the needles. They each require three button batteries and arrive with them installed and a plastic pull strip to engage them on arrival. I suspect moisture damage at some point during the shipping process, and I'm sure it would be a challenge to switch to a rechargeable system for so many pieces. Each needle would require charging, but I had four batteries swollen and corroded.

Having already purchased a set of lighted crochet needles for my mother, I purchased these lighted knitting needles as a present. They did not disappoint and she is happy to be able to actually see what's she's working on!

These knitting needles break easily! They are poor quality!

I was just using my blue pair of knitting needles when the tip of it just broke off! I am disappointed as they weren't cheap. My husband tried to fix it but it is beyond repair.

Just got them, started using them and 10 minutes into knitting a tip broke. These are cheaply made. I would not recommend them.
