I do recommend thisI need a new ruler - it was small, but looks like a border collie - like the one we used to haveone complaint- it came wrapped in skimpy wrapping - the mailing package was sturdy, but the figurine could have been wrapped nicer.

This looks just like its photo.While these are not to a specific scale, they are very close to G-gauge or 1:20 scale for many of the smaller farm and domestic animals (but scales do vary depending on the animal such as elephants versus chickens).It is nicely detailed and perfectly painted. I am using these as "models" for creating illustrations for children's books.You can't beat the detail for the price.

Perfect as a decoration for my bother-in-law’s birthday cake.

This little guy sits on my desk and reminds me of my "Oreo" which has served us well and is now in permanent "retirement." RIP. Bless our border collie. They are great dogs and this is a great replica of one.

Looks just like my dog so my kid is happy with it, really expensive for what it is but scuplter well.

This little dog is so perfect in expression and demeanor! I gave one to a friend who is older now and had a border collie many years ago that she truly adored. There is also the Schleich model which has the border collie wearing a red bandana and looking a bit sneaky...this Papo model has a more general appeal. I've added one to my collection, too.

This plastic border collie met, and exceeded all of my expectations. My dog didn't have as crazy of a face but I've seen many a border collie so I can attest that it's a pretty realistic face. My dog was the minority for being so calm and relaxed. RIP.

The figurine is realistic looking. The toy arrived in a sealed package, but all the white on the dog has tan streaking that looks like the dog rolled in dirt. The product picture on Amazon.com shows snow-white markings. Disappointed, as Papo normally has top-of-the-line products in my opinion.
