For values this set definitely is great! You get 2 metal mechanical pencils, refills, and erasers of various kinds. I always prefer mechanical pencils over traditional ones, and these feel solid! Good grip, size (thickness), and design, although a bit on heavy side (doesn't feel it much until after a while). Write smoothly and doesn't break. I used them in drawing too and served me fine. My kid (grade 7th) also likes it for writing. Erasers work very well, but also depend on how heavy your handwriting is.

Very nice set. Reasonably good technical pencils, a lifetimes supply of leads and erasers, the only improvement would be colored top to differentiate the size, this is very trivial tho because the size is printed on the side under the clip band.

Very good quality strong and durable

Pretty nice at first but some flaws. Very small and impractical eraser on pencil but it comes with tons of replacements. The grip is hard and it was durable. The big erasers were good though and it helped me write fast.

I've used more than a few mechanical pencils and this has to be one of my favorites. Its comfortable and sleek and I like that it's not just plastic. The best part, is that the weight is by the grip. That detail means that shading is incredibly satisfying and when you hold the back you can get consistent value in each stroke.

Still have them 3 years later and love them

I wanted a heavier mechanical pencil. Honestly. It's metal, how much, I can't say, but it's extremely light. I have random hand tremors and jerks and sometimes yeet things across the room/space I'm in because of it (RIP my first iPad and not getting another after the 2nd). Its kind of why I wanted a heavier pencil, sometimes the weight displaces the tremors when I'm drawing. The pencil for my 2nd iPad is heavier. The pencil case is nice and the utensils work lovely enough. The mechanical pencil eraser is questionable, but the brick erasers are fine. Lead is visible, soft-ish, and less likely to smear compared to my current lead. FYI, currently, there is no "smear-proof" lead. Which is fine. That is what erasers and fixatives are for, or fineliners, ect.I would buy this set again. I like it.

I like the build quality of the pencils but the included lead is terrible and breaks so often that using the pencil gets annoying for taking notes. Works better with quality lead.
