Good for cameras. Small for mini camcorders.
I bought this case intending to use it with a Canon VIXIA HV30. Here is what I found:Pro:-Case is sturdy, made in China (what isn't these days?).-Comes with a shoulder strap.-Has a lifetime warranty.I tried to stuff all the accessories in to see how much it would hold. Whether anyone would need to carry all these things, I wouldn't know, but I think it is a good way to do it for review purposes. The Canon HV30 fits in the main pocket. One side pocket holds the remote and an extra film tape. One side pocket will hold 2 batteries. There is a zippered compartment behind the main one. It held the adapter and plug for a wall, but absolutely nothing else. For the front side pocket, it would hold 2 extra film tapes, maybe a cellphone. There is a zippered mesh bag on the inside front of the front pocket that could hold change, batteries, possibly a miniSD card.I am not sure how I would fit a battery charger, manual, videomic, usb or firewire cables, or other accessories. If traveling some people might leave the battery charger in their room, but if you were taking it out for professional use you might need it. Either way, there is no space for these things.Con:-It will not hold many accessories.-The belt loop on the back is uncomfortable with anything in the back pocket.-It has decent padding, but seems a bit thin. I include it as a con because I like to protect my stuff very well. It might be good to some.On the whole, it is a decent, but small case (interior dimensions are 4.7"W x 6.3"H x 1.97"D). If I was only carrying a camera around I think it would fit my needs perfectly. For a person using a camcorder with lots of attachments, I would say look elsewhere.

Good Enough
Good value for the money. It is just big enough to fit my Kodak Z712...i hav to push it in carefully... but that way its compact toocheck the sizes of the camera before u buy this. if ur camera is even a few mm bigger in any dimension than the Z712, then this case wud definitely not fit.The additional comparments are good enough for the data cable, spare batteries and memory cards.Update 13/02/2008)The case worked well until i screwed it. i tried to fit in my sony battery charger in the back compartment and it tore the case. So, caution here, dont try to fit too much, too tight.its not any high quality, stitching , but is good enough for the price, if properly handled.

Excellent as a Belt Pack
I use this case as my "man purse" looped onto my belt. I carry reading glasses, asthma inhaler, Galaxy phone, tissues, a pen and more . Very sturdy, small enough not to interfere with seating in my car, but big enough to carry my "supplies" hands free. Took me a long time to find one that works this way (2 other failures), but this one fits the bill (and the billfold if you want to put your wallet in it)!

It's a good case, just too small for my intended needs
It's a good case, just too small for my intended needs, and too bulky for most other uses.... for me. It might just exactly right for you! It's well made and all the zippers and pockets seem to be easy to use and get into.

Love this bag!
I bought this for my 5inch GPS. Most of the GPS cases I looked at were designed for 4.3inch GPS, but my new unit is 5inch.Like other Ape Bags, this product is well constructed, has great pocket sizes and has a bright yellow contrast interior. It's a brand that speaks for itself. This bag has 5 pockets. The main pocket has 2 mesh pockets inside (one each front and back); the front pouch has 2 sd-card sized pockets and a mesh pocket inside; each of the side pockets has a mesh pocket (about the size of 2 AA batteries); the flat back pocket is divided. All interior pockets and dividers are well constructed. The variety of sizes ensures you'll have somewhere to safely store each small part you may have; but none of the interior dividers take up/waste a lot of space like some bags I've owned. Also, although it's not shown in the photos, this bag does come with a narrow shoulder strap, which is adjustable in length and had a non-slip coating on one side.

Great For The Fuji X100S if...
..you turn the bag inside out (requires a bit of effort), and with a sharp pair of scissors, cut away the two small pockets inside. My case now fits the X100S perfectly without its hood but with an added Really Right Stuff grip on the camera.I also put the camera in a small plastic baggy to insure it is insulated against any dust. The loop on the bag back is firm and secure making it an ideal belt bag. This will fit the camera very nicely with no extra room to spare! An extra battery and lens cloth fits in the front pocket.

Stated size is incorrect.
I love APE cases and have quite a few for my gear but I had to send this one back. The measurements as stated on the Amazon page are 10"x4"x6.5". It actually measures 7"x4"x5", which is a substantial difference.

Practical and Clever Camera Case
Ape Case AC252 is case #2 for me. Case#1 went on many trips with me (for 10 years). The size is 6.5 x 5.5- ïnches (H x W), NOT 10 x 5.5-inches as stated on the amazon web page. The very sturdy neck strap is adjustable, detachable, and 40-inches long. When unfolded the width is 15.5-inches. Inside are several pockets for money, 1 zippered compartment the size of an US passport (handy at airports). The top padded and zippered pouch takes my Lumix camera. I carry this case around the neck, hanging in front of me. It is perfect for carrying money and coins for a day and the camera, for a hands-free secure time in the streets or on the bus and metro.

Amazing price, high quality bag
For this ridiculously low price, this is an amazing case. I use it for a camcorder and a myriad of chargers, spare batteries, and cables... this case holds them all with lots of room to spare. Quality construction with a heavy duty nylon outer. Considering it only cost me $10 I can't praise it highly enough; it's every bit as good as the bags at your local electronics retailer that cost $50-$100. Snap one up before they are gone!

The pockets are perfect for SD cards and a small tripod
This case is small enough to carry my Sony video camera, the power supply and the output cable. The pockets are perfect for SD cards and a small tripod.

So so
The item appears in the photo to be large, while in fact it is for a small digital camera. Disappointed

Trop petit - too small
Trop petit par rapport à la description (détails déficients) - too small with respect to description (inadequate details)
