New Standard Grilling's Remote Digital Meat Thermometer with Long Range Wireless Indicator

This Digital thermometer works as advertised and will take some getting used to because it is some what difficult to program , but when you get used to it you will be happy with it , it is nice not to worrie about the temp of the meat being cooked and it has a sufficient range to notify you when it is done . Hint if your cooking a whole chicken or turkey the internal temp to be reached is 180 degrees F , I set the thermometer to 176 then pull it out because it will continue to cook to 180F . the birds always come out juicy . I like the probe because the wire leading to the probe itself is all metal with no plastic coatings and four feet of wire . the display is easy to read and takes 4 AAA battery's , two for the base and two for the hand held unit . The temp calibration is spot .I have only used it once and have no idea how long it will work .

After trying and being so happy with their grill brushes and cooking/grilling tongs, I had to try the New Standard Grilling Digital Cooking Thermometer. Once again my husband and I are thrilled it. Having the remote indicator makes it easy for my husband to watch his sports while being able to keep track for dinner. I'm going to use it for the Thanksgiving turkey so I can visit with family and not be stuck in the kitchen. Once again I ordered enough of the Thermometers for the men and women grillers my family for Christmas

The first unit I received did not function properly. Upon contacting the supplier I was connected to an associate who attempted to solve the problem over the phone. When an easy resolution was not possible, he promised to replace my unit with a new one, the next day, so I would be able to prepare my Christmas Roast as I had hoped. The new unit arrived the next Day as promised and worked perfectly. My Roast turned out great and the Customer Service I received far exceeded my expectation. This was the best Customer Service I had ever experienced. My Roast was great and a wonderful Gift for my Family.

I love New Standard Grilling's products. We moved to CA and everyone grills almost year round. The grill cleaning brush is definitely the best around. My friends who are over for barbecue want to know where I got mine and I've given several as gifts. Just bought the thermometer. My grill is a Traeger, which loses heat if you open it much. Really nice to be able to monitor the food without having to lose heat, especially as one gets close to being done. The company is very responsive and my orders have been filled quickly.

Bought this for my dad and he is obsessed with it! He says it works great! Everytime we go for dinner and he BBQs he shows it off!

I have only used this unit twice, and now I am having problems with the current temperature setting. Changed batteries and still no current temp. Tried unpluging and re positioning the batteries. Now Im back to the old way. Any suggestions?????

Doesn't work as expected. Too many pieces (3), couldn't get it to give a meat temp.

This really works nice and the long range is very good. I was able to read the temperture from about 70 feet away.
