Outstanding speed and stability
I purchased these after running a 3-pack of Nokia Beacon1 routers for a month at my house and being a bit disappointed in the Beacon 1. The Beacon 3s are FAR better for a gigabit cable internet service, as they can deliver the speed the modem is capable of feeding. They have more channels to work with for backhaul and seem smarter about switching channels and beacons to maintain speed. At a distance of 25 feet from one of the satellite routers (itself about 60 feet from the master router) and with a wall between the computer and the satellite router, I routinely get over 200 mbps on a mac and sometimes faster. Even with four people in the house on zoom it remains stable and the beacons can handle multiple devices while retaining enough bandwidth for fast backhaul. Handoffs to different beacons as you move a device within the house work correctly and smoothly, and I have never had to reset the system after a couple of months in service. The Nokia iOS app for managing the beacons is easy and useful for checking status, monitoring which beacons are supporting which devices, etc. That said, I've noticed since I switched to the Beacon 3 installation, I don't refer to the Nokia app much because the whole system just works and I don't need to check why a particular device isn't getting good speed -- because they all are... I notice the Beacon 3 units aren't currently available, but hopefully they will be back soon because they are very good equipment and I would buy them again in a heartbeat.

High performance and very well build
Researched several major brand mesh routers out there with one of the condition being not to have voice capability for privacy concern. Bought these routers on sale at the price point about the same as other three-unit router box to replace my old Airport Extreme that's dying. The setup with their app was easy to follow and done in half hour. Afterwards, tried multiple internet speed tests in my two floor house and got around 120~180Mbps out of my cable speed of 200Mbps through out of my house which is great. That's about 10x faster than my old single router setup at certain spots, has no more dead spots or dropped connections. The industrial design of these cans looks great and is totally silent. And I don't sense they use internal fan which was the cause of my old router's failure. Two nice features about the router are that they are the same (not main unit vs satellite units) and each piece has 3 LAN ports. There isn't a printed quick start guide in the box so downloaded it online. Cannot review on Tech Support area as it's not needed. Overall really like them!

A nightmare in the making.
This wasn't a cheap system Oddly, when you open the box there is not a single piece of documentation. No warranty info. No safety info. NOTHING. The only thing mentioned is their app. So, if you're not an Apple or Android smartphone user, just forget about this system. I'll not spend more than an hour trying to install this product and after that will pitch it back in the box and return it.What kind of company would package a relatively complex product like this and expect users to need to search the Internet for installation information? Totally unacceptable.

Great system with a few exceptions
Bought this to replace three Google OnHubs installed in January of 2018. I wanted more control of network to be able to create extra SSIDs and force them to use 2.4 Ghz band for Blink cameras and robot vacuum that roams the whole house. Also wanted the increased throughput this unit offered. Was able to set up the SSID and put the cameras and robot vacuum on it but immediately started having problems with cameras. The Nokia system also broke the subpairs I had set up with Amazon Echo speakers. Recreated the speaker subpairs and they broke again. Spoke at length with both Blink and Amazon for suggestions but nothing fixed the problem. Removed Nokia units and put the Google Onhubs back on the network and the cameras worked perfectly. Recreated the Echo subpairs and they worked perfectly. The Nokia units performed quite well with phones, laptops, tablets and multiple Amazon Fire TV sticks but exhibited some incompatibly with Blink cameras and Echo speakers in subpairs. The coverage area of the Nokia Beacons was quite good but surprisingly the coverage area of the Google OnHubs is a little better. I have a camera on the mailbox at the end of an 80 foot long driveway. The Nokia units gave about 75% signal strength but the Google OnHubs pushed 100% signal to the end of the driveway.

Too difficult
I was not able to get the wired backhaul working. The user guide does not provide enough information. There's a manual method to get it working if you spend enough time digging. The product should have better detection to avoid this issue.

Easy setup
It was easy to setup. I still have not been able to figure out how to get my full speed of 1000 but for now it’s working great and I am getting speeds above 500

Amazing wifi
Bought 3 beacons to replace an Airport extreme and an Airport express in a three level house. Set up took less than 5 min per beacon, and a few hours for the mesh wifi to optimize the data transfer rates to all the devices (8 devices connected). Incredibly powerful signal to all the devices, am blown away. Don't have any experience with other mesh systems beyond the Airport Extreme, which is wifi only and not mesh, but this is a massive improvement. Only issue was my Apple TV which was syncing at 2.4ghz to the router on the floor above. It should have been picking up the beacon on the floor where it is located. I switched to 5ghz, it lost connection to the upstairs beacon, then found the beacon on the same floor and now syncing at 5ghz.

This Nokia system is the most impressive WiFi mesh routing system I've used - it actually works!
Not only does it transparently work as described but it is easy to install - way easier to install than any other mesh system I've previously used.I have one system installed in my US residence and one system installed in Europe. Both handle the various issues of the different building types/wall materials with no issue at all. Signal strength and bandwidth are excellent.I highly recommend this system from Nokia.
