Works great on Taylor 12-string
It's a nice capo. I bought both 6 strings and 12 strings. I've had G7 before and the workmanship and operation are impressive.

compensated pad works, string pairs 4 5 and 6. stays in tune.
This capo works perfectly. This is the first capo that I've bought that actually works properly. All of the others were the spring loaded flat bar or slightly curved bar type. They didn't hold tune. This one holds its tuning. From the first fret all the way up the fret board to the 7th fret. No need to go higher. It holds tune when playing 'Hotel California', which is played at the 7th fret, best to my knowledge. Perfectly in tune at that fret. So this G7th Capo does what is says it will do. The ease of use, still working with it. It requires unscrewing the tension on the capo till there is enough space to take it off. Maneuverability is not to bad. loosen up the tension enough and move it up or down the neck. For the money compared to other capo's and the Art G7th, not bad at all.

Still getting used to it
This is a step up from the Kyser 12-string capo in that I like the materials and the much smaller profile of the G7th compared to the clip that can be cumbersome. The way the G7th is put together is a lot better in terms of no sliding components that come loose compared to the part of the Kyser that goes under the neck and constantly comes loose.Biggest thing for me right now is getting used to placement. It's a struggle finding the "sweet spot" where the octave strings on 5 and 6 actually ring instead of being muffled. I'm sure that'll come with time, but until then, I can only give it 4. If I figure it out, it could be an easy 5 as the capo really doesn't get in the way while playing. I love the lower profile that the G7th has.

Solved my problem once and for all
I finally found a capo that works flawlessly on a 12-string! If you've had issues with uneven pressure across the fretboard and stings forced out of tune, this capo will solve those problems.

CONSTANT STRING BUZZ
It doesn't work no matter how it's adjusted .If I tighten it more I'm afraid it might end up damaging the neck of my upper up Guitars .I currently use Kyser's on both of my Guitars .Now both Kyser's Capos work fine on them but this G7 simply won't stop that annoying string buzz no matter how tight I go in adjustment . so I gave up. I bought this hoping it would stop the annoying out of tune issues Kyser's cause but at least they don't have that irritating string buzz

Must Have Item for 12 String Guitars
The rubber bar that comes in contact with the strings has specific topography that allows it to press the octave strings with much less pressure. This does three things for performance. One it allows clean sounds with less capo pressure. Two you can do some fine tuning with the capo on. Three it allows faster changing of the capo.I have tested every other product that I could get my hands on and so far nothing compares with this one.

Good but too small
I have a takamine gseries GD30CE-12 and the capo works pretty well, however it only works easily on the lower frets. If I wanted to use it in the 7th fret you have to adjust the strings and push them to the center of the fretboard because the capo is too small. So if you want to use this on frets higher up on the board I wouldn’t recommend this.

Works great
Just took it out of the package and popped it on the 7th fret of my Martin D-X2E12 and it fretted all 12 strings perfectly. Just bought the Martin and it's my first 12 string, tried a couple of other capos I had and neither could fret without at least a couple of dead strings. This works tremendously compared to a standard capo on a 12 string.
