Chef O Van Caramel Flavor, 2 Ounce

Does the trick! I needed caramel extract for a recipe and the end result was very delicious! Arrived quickly and in great condition. I do wish the ingredients were a bit more natural but I had to work with what I could find and such a small amount was needed I decided to just give it a go.

I don't know if my expectations were too high for the flavor of this or not. It's my first time buying any caramel flavor and was going by the two 5-star reviews on this. I wanted to try and make homemade Caramel Macchiato coffee creamer, but this just didn't do it. Then I read the ingredients. The main ingredient is maple syrup with just caramel color, some kind of glycol, alcohol and water. I could have done that with just maple syrup and not the other junk. So, with all that being said, I don't rate this very high at all and it will be my last time getting this. Watkins maple extract had more reviews and they were all high. Maybe I'll try that if I do decide to get caramel flavor again.

This flavoring tastes pretty darn good to me! I mix it with stevia in my AM iced espresso with cream and it is very close to an iced starbucks caramel macchiato.A little bit goes a LONG way and be careful of the coloring, it will take a bit of scrubbing to get spills off white.Also, I add a few drops to the vanilla extract when I bake and it really adds a great depth of flavor!

I've been using this flavoring in protein drinks and hot chocolate. It is awesome! One of these days, I'll have to give it a try in some baked goods as well. It smells and tastes just like the real deal. It is very yummy, and my kids love it, too.

Flavor is really good, but I didn't realize it had maple syrup in it in when I was buying it for just the Caramel flavoring.

This is great in my protein shakes!

Tasted great. Used it in a keto recipe and it worked great.

I add this in my Shakeology shakes, and it is soo yummy!! it definitely has a great caramel flavor.
