I bought this to help get my father in/out of the bath. He has severe dementia and poor mobility. Unlike some of the bench seat designs it seemed better at avoiding water getting on the floor. I like ease with which the chair locks in one position to enable him to get in/out and swivels 90 degrees to lock in position again. The arms are sturdy with a plasticised hard wearing cover that grips the bath well to avoid the chair slipping. I had to unscrew the clamps situated about 9cm under the chair however, as 9cm below the rim of the bath, his bath isn't quite wide enough to accommodate the clamps. Anyone whose bath narrows to 48cm or less about 9cm below the rim will probably have to do the same if they want to use this chair. Doing this may render the chair unsafe is certain circumstances. However, as I'll always be with him when in use it isn't an issue for us and it still appears very stable. All in all I'm very happy with the quality and can now safely get him in and out of the bath to wash him in a sitting position.

It is a very solid, stable and sturdy chair.

I admit I went, at first, for a cheaper shower chair but it was too wide for my bathroom, so eventually I saved enough money to get this one. I'm glad I did, as I found this easy to use and maintain. I still had to get someone else (my elderly dad) to set up this chair but it is worth it.

Réponse à mes attentes, mon conjoint est handicapé (une jambe en moins). Ce siège correspond à son handicap. Il peut s'asseoir et faire pivoter le siège pour sa toilette. S'adapte à toute baignoire. Nous sommes en sécurité sur ce siège

L'article ne convenait pas car la personne âgée pour qui nous l'avons acheté n'arrivait pas à s'en servir, la rotation dans la baignoire ne se faisait pas lié probablement a la taille de la personne. Nous avons donc fait une demande de retour de l'article, avec rdv pour le transporteur pour récupérer le colis, il n'est jamais passé alors que les consignes ont été respecté, à savoir laisser le colis devant la porte. J'ai fait une autre demande pour un retour et là ça devait être le transporteur qui devait reprendre le colis, à ce jour toujours aucun appel, nous nous retrouvons avec un colis assez imposant dans la maison, sans pouvoir être remboursé. Ce produit s'adapte en effet à toutes les baignoires, cependant si cette dernière est trop large, l'assise est trop éloignée du rebord de la baignoire, et il impossible à une personne âgée ou handicapée de s'y assoir, car il n'y a que une infime partie du postérieure qui peut s'y glisser !
