ANRI Replacement Trackpad Touchpad installation and use easy
Hey, what can I say? When ordering I was unsure of the quality - thanks to Amazon's return policies I took the leap. This has worked out really well. I installed it in my Apple MacBook Pro in literally 10 minutes (I do know my way around the internal workings - replaced the hard drive). Install was flawless and the touchpad works better than expected - new life in my older spare MacBook.Yes, I recommend this company and its products. Consider an order with new screws and driver and cable.

track pad working great
My 10 year old battery in my MacBook Pro finally expanded and cracked my trackpad so I had to replace it along with the old battery, now both are working great. I thought the trackpad was a little pricey at first but being that it works so well, with no difference that I can tell. Definitely worth it.

Works perfectly
They are a difficult replacement to do on you're own. You have to take apart much of the computer, but in the end, definitely worth it if you have a broken track pad.

Excellent
Works like a charm. Replaced on 2011 Macbook Pro due to swollen battery cracking the old one. Had to order the brackets separately (+$5) as they had also broke. Old cable still worked. Installation was easy, albeit handling the tiny screws to replace the brackets. No dead zone, no issues at all.

If computer bogs/slows after installation it could be this touchpad.
Product fit perfectly but after installation noticed fan was running more then usual. Initial startup was quick but within a couple minutes started getting serious lag to the point where recovery mode didn't even want to boot up. My old trackpad had cracked glass but otherwise functioned so I went and reinstalled the old one and computer is functioning as it should again. The track pad I had previously in the computer(A1278) was a replacement and not an OEM pad/cable so I don't know if the cable created the issue or this trackpad. I would recommend looking at a different brand with a cable supplied. Its a very delicate piece and apparently different manufacturers products don't seem to play well with each other.I purchased this because the initial one I replaced was out of stock and the good reviews but I have to give it one star. I hope I just got the bad one out of the batch because a bogging computer is worse then having a lagging touchpad.

Flakey as hell
Works for about an hour then starts sticking is the main issue. This is my THIRD aftermarket pad from JANRI. I'm not sure that's even a registered trademark, I think they are just using the logo. This thing looks almost identical to an original trackpad. It's very hard to tell it apart. Apart from the following.1. It doesn't quite fit right. Although the build quality looks great, the measurements must be ever so slightly out. But that's not a big deal once it's installed.2. The click button cover underneath is SQUARE not TRIANGULAR. Not that there is an issue with clicking. Clicking works 100% of the time3. This thing is VERY INTERMITTENT. I can work for a while and then the cursor will stick. It think's you are still pressing on it with one finger. When you go to move it again it mistakes this for a 2 FINGER gesture.SHAME, It's so close to being AWESOME, but the reliability / consistency lets it down.

Didn't work. Garbage.
This is installed easy enough. You just need to take off the back cover and battery and undo a few screws. Sadly, this arrived non-functional. Only one half of the trackpad was sensitive to touch leaving me with nothing but the hassle of a return and a wait for a part from another supplier. I ended up getting a 'genuine' one pulled from a working MacBook on eBay.

Didn't work
Trackpad arrived and it had clearly been used. Fitted it into Mac and no joy. Didn't work. Will stick with apple original parts.
