Ordered this item to replace the faulty analog OEM thermostat in my Roo 233S. Easy install, however, the first one I received was inoperable. After installation, backlight stayed on with a blank display. Returned item and requested a replacement. Received replacement in a few days and installed. So far it works great; a vast improvement from the old analog Coleman-Mach thermostat. Four stars under easy to install because the first one I received was defective, so I had to install it twice.

The only replacement you should get at the low end
It was easy for me to install due to the fact I do engineering. Be careful to sit, chill and read the instructions and make sure you check your old thermostat colors by keeping them attached enough to use them after you cut them for easy install with the old harness colors. Then your good to go. Betas the heck out of the mechanical ones. Big time.

Display is hard to read.
I installed this as a replacement for my original thermostat in my RV. Easy installation and seems to be accurate. The only complaint is that the display is hard to read unless you are directly even with it. I have to stand on my tip-toes, otherwise it is washed out.

A very simple thermostat
I like this thermostat because it does not have a lot of bells and whistles. It’s very simple and to the point off, higher or lower. So far it has worked fine. I’ve been using it for over two months.

Hand that it's identical to the part being replaced.
The old thermostat would shut off before reaching temp or sometimes not even come on. After reviewing rv thermostats on Amazon, found the same exact model. Simple to replace, just switch 6 wires. Heater now works like it should.

After a fussy installation it works well
Connecting the wires is very fiddly - especially if you don't have much wire length to work with. Once installed it worked well.
