I bought this for an older cat who was getting very thin in her old age, sadly she wasn't too keen on it but my other cat loves it, curls right up. It definitely generates heat for her and I'd not hesitate to get more when needed. I used a sharp knife to cut it to size with no issues and it didn't create loads of bits all over the place. I haven't had to wash it as yet so can't comment on that aspect

Gave these to the new owners who bought puppy’s off me, I kept them with mum and rubbed her sent onto them, so it was like a comforter for there new family home

I love the softness, my 12yr old collie/cross also loves it. Immediately it’s down he’s straight onto it . He loves it better when it’s just come out of the dryer!it’s so easy to keep clean. This 30inch by 24 inch or something around that size, is perfect for a middle sized crate. The lab fits in it, nose to bum in perfect width and we leave the door open at night. With a few layers of this fleece down and some old blankets too, she loves her night bed.We have a day bed too out the crate btw.We use the fleece because it lasts a long time, unless our naughty-sweet-girl digs a bit lol.And it’s easy to wash.It’s also relatively comfortable for her I imagine, with a few sheets of the vet fleece down and lots of old blankets or towels that she makes into her own little nest. I love these vet fleeces. She’s had then in her crate and we’ve used them since she was a pup.They are lined on the back, so somewhat wet proof if they tinkle in the night.Either way, fold up easily into the machine machine. We line dry or dry in the drying machine.X

Nice thick warm layer for a whelping box perfect for newborn puppies and their mum. Easily washable and interchangeable to keep the area clean and warm.

Great for puppy’s to stay dry on till toilet trained and then lovely and soft to use outside when visiting places
