Technical Precision Replacement for Welch Allyn 72200

Read the reviews, and decided to take a chance. Needed overnight charging out of the box, and was surprised when it worked the next day. Will report back if it does not last or fails for any reason.

The battery arrived on time and has functioned perfectly. We will have to see if this replacement battery will last as long as the brand. Well worth the price.

This battery fits the handle, but cannot be removed without damaging the battery, itself. My 49 year old otoscope/ophthalmoscope works as good as new. I hope it proves to be long lasting.

This really did the job. Price is great. Would buy again.

They are good about replacements for bad batteries, but both of my first two attempts were bad batteries. (They would not charge.) If you are NOT in a hurry and want their affordable price, I expect they will keep replacing any bad ones until you get a good one.. #1 never worked, so I returned it and reordered. Battery #2 which wouldn’t charge either. (I am retired, so time was not of the essence for me.) We had sold our house and moved shortly after the replacement battery arrived. I had found that #2 would not charge either. (to multiple charge/discharge attempts in each battery’s case) By the time I got to unpack all our “not-immediately-necessary” things which we had in long-term storage and retrieve battery #2, it was past its “return by” date. My fault.

working great out of the box. I expected to have to wait one day to charge them prior to use. However I was able to use them as soon as they arrived. They provided excellent power and light.

Replacement Battery works, but only holds a charge sufficient to provide light for one hour before needing several hours of recharging. OK for the price. Voltage output is correct.

Very easy to maintain and gives enough lite to see in dark areas of a cabinet or a nightlight for a room.
