CenzoLeather Travel Kit Toiletry Dopp Bag in Brown

I purchased this bag originally as a toiletry bag, but when I received it - I was amazed at the quality and craftsmanship of the bag. I am now using it as a purse. Everything fits, it’s nice and light and will last forever.What a great bag and such a quality product. I also ordered the black bag after the brown one came.

This was a replacement for an old travel kit that I had used for many years. I was immediately struck with the quality of the leather, the inner lining, the brass hardware, and the general design and workmanship. I'm sure this will be the last travel kit I will ever need (or want). It is a perfect accent to my Cenzo overnight bag. It may be a little larger than some would prefer, but it is the perfect size for me. I have chosen not to fold the handle as shown in the illustration, but rather just keep the leather loop on one end of the bag. You have the option to use it either way.

This is a delightful dopp bag.But my personal preference is for a hinged top that keeps the bag open wide when you open it.And while the lining is handsome, how long is it going to stay that way since it is lighter colored, and sewn in, so it cannot be removed for washing? I keep my things in a sheer plastic produce bag inside the dopp bag to keep the lining clean much longer. I would prefer the lining be black for this reason.The vegetable tanning made the bag smell like urine for a short while upon receipt, but that odor is gone now.And as another reviewer noted, it could have an additional compartment inside.A handsome and useful bag.

The leather is very soft but a bit disappointed in the handle which is so short it’s unusable.

FRAUD....that's what immediately comes to mind. The only thing that's true about this product is the color. Yup, it IS brown. NOT LEATHER it's PLASTIC with a cheap cloth liner. The closest this thing got to Italy was passing an Italian travel poster on the way to Shanghai harbor. Avoid purchasing this like you'd avoid the feces strewn streets of the San Francisco Mission District. Yeah, it's that big of a rip off. This is the kind of crap that gives buying on line a bad name. Only gets one star BECAUSE THERE ARE NO NEGATIVE STARS!!!

The prior review that stated this was a fraud is crazy, and has no idea what quality leather looks like. This is a good quality and lasting product that will last.
