SilverStone CXi Ceramic Nonstick Fry Pan/Skillet Set, 9 Inch and 11.25 Inch, Marine Blue

I received this pan back in December as a Christmas gift from my mom. I'm not sure if she bought them on Amazon or at a department store. She bought me this pan in the chili red color, plus the set of the smaller and medium pan. It is now April and I've been using these almost daily. I am a wife and mom of 2, I cook almost every meal for my family exclusively at home, and I had been in dire need of some better quality pans than the hand me down pans and cheap stuff I'd been using. I was fortunate to have older lids that fit these, so that in particular was not an issue for me.You name it, I've made it in one of these. Eggs every way, bacon, steaks, chops, boneless skinless chicken, stir fry, vegetables, rice-a-roni, noodles, tofu, fired chicken, fish, grilled cheese, french toast, one pot pasta dishes ....and a lot more I'm sure.I am on a special diet because of a health issue, so it is really important to me to have something that is truly non-stick so I can keep the oil and fat content in my food as low as possible. With a small amount of cooking spray, nothing has really "stuck" in these pans, with the exception of one tired morning I made scrambled eggs and didn't use a light coating of cooking spray beforehand. But, the pan was still extremely easy to clean up even with the stuck on eggs. I'm a messy cook, I burn things on occasion, things boil over, cook too long, etc. and these pans have never given me a problem so far.I am really hard on my pots and pans because I cook a lot, also I am lazy and do not like hand washing anything. I've sent these through the top rack of the dishwasher multiple times and have not had any issues. I have attached a few pictures of what these pans look like after almost five months of daily use. In the photos which I took last night, I was making pork chops, and you can see after two rounds of chops, I was able to wipe the surface clean with a dry paper towel alone. No one has influenced my review, I honestly have just had a really good experience with these.I can't say enough good things about these pans, I tell everyone I know how awesome they are and how extremely easy to clean they are. They work well with high heat, low heat, and for a variety of meats, carbs and veggies.With that said, do not ever use anything metal to whisk, stir, etc on these! My husband sliced into a steak to check the done-ness and scratched a tiny piece of the white coating off. I'd recommend using only silicone or plastic cookware! I can't recommend these enough, they are the very best pans I have ever used, and I have tried a LOT. Like the title says, I don't get the bad reviews, maybe my set was one of the good ones, maybe they changed something? But for me personally I can't say enough good things about these pans, I think they're great.If you have any questions, feel free to ask I'll try to answer to the best of my ability!

: ( On a gas stove, the bottom surface scratches/flakes the red paint because of the stove grates [I found this in another review after purchase made]. I have used pan 3 times and it seems to have stopped. Still waiting to hear from others who kept pan and had this happen too on their gas stove. If you want to slide your pan back and forth while cooking, be aware of this if you have a gas stove. : ) I'm keeping my pan. It's wonderful and nothing sticks. However, I cook in this pan as if it is stainless steel. 1st. Medium setting pre-heat. When drop of water has 'boiling water' appearance, pan ready. 2nd. 'Lightly, lightly' butter/oil pan like if you're cooking eggs. If something like hamburger won't need to. Has oils coming out as meat cooks. 3rd. Put in food. Should hear sizzle sound. If not pan not hot enough. 4th Don't move food placed in pan. It has to do a process of browning/caramelizing' on the underside of food before flipping or moving it in pan. This is why the 2nd step/above is necessary.

Compré este sartén grande porque quería comprar la batería completa, pero leí muchos comentarios negativos y quise hacer una prueba. Me encantó el sartén de un color rojo preciosos, antiadherente, la superficie blanca no se mancha y no se pega nada.Decidí, después de varios usos del sartén, pedir la batería y ya no está disponible!!! Espero que pronto la encuentre y pueda comprarla. La gente que hizo comentarios negativos seguramente no lee instrucciones y no tiene los cuidados necesarios. No es cierto que la pintura roja se despegue, no es cierto que se pegan los alimentos al cocinar, no es cierto que se despostilla. Si pasa todo esto, es porque no leyeron ni siguieron instrucciones y golpearon o se les cayó el utensilio.Recomiendo ampliamente este sartén, es muy grande y útil, además de que se ve lindísimo en rojo.AMAZON!!!!! Necesito que pronto esté disponible la batería completa.

Really nice little frying pan - very happy with this purchase. Good quality, doesn't stick, I like that it's a little deeper than the average frying pan. Looks great too.
