MRC Prodigy Non-Powered Extension Plate

Not sure why they classify this as a "toy", but with that said, it does exactly as promised. I was able to add the second connection to the layout on the other side of the table so things can be controlled from either side for now, and with a second controller later. It is well made and comes with the cable to connect back to the main DCC controller (about 10ft long). My only gripe is that they use little triangulated sections off the flat part of the panel to strengthen it and they force you to make the hole for the rear box wider than it needed to be.

I love this thing, I need to get more so that I can have more people around the layout. I do plan on ordering like 3 more so that I can have four baseplates and a total of 8 cabs. It installs easy, I used a hand saw, well circular saw first to cut little slots in the wood then from there I used a hand saw, it fit perfectly and I use electrical tape and a stapler to keep the wires out of the way.
