Best baby locks I've tried so far!
I was slightly skeptical when I bought these, thinking that maybe the adhesive wouldn't be strong enough or that it would be a pain to remember to grab the magnetic key every time I need to get into my cabinets. I'm so glad I tried them anyways -- they are by far my favorite baby lock (and I've tried 4 different brands/styles so far).I found these easy and pretty intuitive to install, despite the instructions being a little confusing. (For example, the pictures/diagrams are all numbered, but they're not necessarily the installation steps you're supposed to take in numbered order -- plus, the numbers 3 and 4 are missing, which makes you feel like *you're* missing something... but I think it's just a typo rather than actual information not being there.) Regardless, I installed the locks with no problem just using common sense and a bit of trial and error. I only had to sacrifice one lock during the process, and that was my fault because I didn't realize that I was putting the adhesive over an imperfect/raised part of the wood.I've waited 2 weeks since installing these locks before leaving this review, so I could attest to their functionality. They're still working great -- my (strong) 1 year old son has not been able to pull off the adhesive despite yanking on the cabinet doors frequently and persistently. It only took me about 3 days to get used to grabbing the magnetic key before trying to open the cabinet... now it's pretty much habit and doesn't seem like a very big inconvenience. In the kitchen, I keep the magnetic key on the refrigerator. (Bonus: I used a sharpie to write "CLEAN" on the kitchen key, so now it doubles as a sign to indicate whether or not our dishwasher is clean, meaning my husband and I are no longer on the brink of divorce every time he loads dirty dishes into a clean dishwasher, or puts dirty dishes onto the shelves thinking they're clean! ;)For a while I was puzzled over the small magnetic disks that came with the magnetic "keys". Since I was using mine only in the kitchen at first, I didn't understand why you'd need these. However, they're actually ingenious -- if you happen to be using these locks in a room without a refrigerator (or other obviously magnetic surface) you can adhere these disks to the wall, etc. and instantly create a magnetic "home" for the key. Excellent attention to detail in the design of this product!Overall, these are fantastic. They work well, and are very clever and unobtrusive. We live in an apartment so it's been nice not having to tear up all the cabinets with screw holes, and I love not having to jam my fingers down into an inch of space to trigger the unlocking function like you have to do with most other baby locks. Oh, and there's an "unlocking" function that you can easily switch on for after your baby goes to bed, so adults are not having to constantly grab the key. Such a great, thoughtful invention -- baby locks have come a long way!

Great Product
I bought these over a year ago and they've held up great. Easy installation, child proof and an overall good product for what it is. Nobody talks about removing them though. Their super strength adhesive is hard to get off so don't plan on doing a kitchen remodel any time soon after putting these on!

These are THE BEST!!! However, have had some mixups w/ quantity.
The media could not be loaded. These have increased majorly in price over the past 1.5-2 years (as in, nearly doubled) - OUCH! But they are worth every penny. They work great for my cabinets. I had to screw a few in but mostly used the adhesive. My husband forgets we lock our cabinets and tries to open them as normal SMH… they don’t hold up as well against a 36-year-old toddler’s yanking but they DO hold up great against the 2 year old toddler. I’ve been surprised how long these have lasted given the abuse. I have tried multiple other varieties and these are CLEAR winners for ease of install and ease of use.One surprise thing I loved… another big manual latch type was great except my son could get his little fingers in there. And crush them. And scream and wail. Then do it again. These get my cabinets to be ALMOST flush, no crushed fingers. Love it!Today I had to rush buy another set… mother in law is coming in the morning & I need to add a few and replace some damaged ones.Ever been sitting there kind of shell shocked with a screaming toddler, feeling proud you’re managing to hold your sh*t together and keep “it” (the child) fed, watered, and generally alive? Yeah, that’s me.Ever met one of those women who was BORN to be a mom and have like 10 kids and makes it all look so easy… the one who gives you a MAJOR guilty mommy inferiority complex? The one who attempts to smile, looking at you with *that* look while telling you that you “must be doing your best”? Yeah, that’s my MIL. And I have the only grandchild, and she’s a retired nurse, and my son was a micropreemie. So her uber mom senses are on STEROIDS. We can’t have one cabinet or drawer unlocked (even out of reach) or the baby might die…Speaking of, second thing I love, I can install these and leave them unlocked/open on those “why am I actually baby proofing this, it is 7 feet up?” spots. Just flip the switch to engage them when MiL visits. And disengage when she leaves. Very great.Anyways - MIL lands in the morning and I have zero desire to get that judgey “you’re trying to kill my grandson because you didn’t baby proof that cabinet above the fridge” talk… so I bought a 12 pack to shore up my emergency situation, same day delivery. I should have checked this sooner.I received an 8 pack (which was clearly labeled as a 12 pack). Amazon warehousing issue I suspect.Amazon wasn’t going to be able to get me a new set fast enough so they did kindly refund me. Still BUMMED… now my last-minute heiney has to run to everyone’s (least) favorite chain store to buy something inferior FAST.I will probably be back for more of these though. They really are great.Update June 2023: the Walmart ones are already trashed. I am back for more of these!

Great product,read for installation tip!
This product is great. It works well. The installation mighty take a while to figure out. First make sure you remove any dirt and dust (you can use the wipe provided),let it dry. I found that the best way to put it is to install the top part inside of the cabinet (stick it just at the edge, this is really important). Then put the bigger part inside of it and close the door (this will make the bigger part to stick to the door gently) you then use a magnet to unlock it and gently open the door. Then press on the part to stick it permanently.I wish the instructions were clearer so I didn't have to make so many unsuccessful attempts. If you do this as I described it will save you a lot of time. But in general once installed this is a great thing.
