Nice box too
I'm in a heavily wooded area so a true judge of range is hard to pin down or illuminate your prey, too many shadows. I can say eyes shine bright in the darkness @ at least 250 yards. Next to my buddy's light costing 3 times as much there isn't that much difference, Tight beam in center and very bright, more than adequate. At 50 yards plus, it fully illuminated the raccoon that was slaughtering my chickens. Bought a second plus extra batteries for hand held and another rifle. Nice box too.

But so far so good. Here is the good
I just got it today so I have not field tested it yet, so I may change my review one way or the other when I do. But so far so good. Here is the good. 1, it took about 4 days to get it and arrived on a Sunday. 2. I was surprised on how heavy it is, not a bad thing, seems to be sturdy and well built. 3.Seems to throw a good beam (Its daylight). Now the bad. 1. The barrel clamp is a joke ( I should have looked at the picture better) I would not bolt that to my gun unless Zombies were knocking on the door. 2. Not sure about the battery never seen one like it, I did order another one as another guy recommended it in a review, it hasn't come yet. 3.There are no instructions at all, So you have no idea how long to charge the battery or if you can over charge it ect. I guess I was just pleased that it is is heavier than I expected and seems to be well built, lets hope its not a heavy piece of junk. I am happy with it so far since it was 1/8 of the price of one my son has on his Coyote gun. Field test coming soon. TK. Oregon

Works great out to 200 yards! GREAT FOR GETTING INTO NIGHTTIME HUNTING!
This light actually works! Had it out last night and was shining a field and could easily see the bean stubble at 200 yards! Great buy compared to other "Predator Lights" Have not had a chance to check the longevity of the battery but I bought 2 extra for cheap here on amazon. Even ordered another light for my dad! Definitely worth picking up even if you just need a backup light.

Bright, well focused beam light
Got this light recently to use in night time feral pig hunting. Mounted easily on a Picatinny rail on my scope base, and am able to use the included barrel clamp for use on another rifle. Having a red LED bulb, you are able to enjoy a substantial increase in lumen strength over lights with red lens filters. Narrow, clear beam. My hunting partner, who works as a Police Officer with the SWAT team, was impressed enough to order one for himself with a green LED. I think I made a better choice, but using two colors, we will be able to see which animal we are each targeting, so we will be more effective as a team in our animal control efforts.

the light works great but is fragile
the light works great but is fragile, it failed after 1 shot mounted on a crossbow, spent the majority of its time in its box, no hard knocks or abuse. org purchase 5/15.

Overall this is a pretty good light for the price
Overall this is a pretty good light for the price. The reason for the two-star review is because the tailcap button did not work when I received the item. I had to take the tailcap apart and re-solder one of the connections and now it works. When you pay $50 for a flashlight it should work. The pressure switch seems to work great. I'm going to mount this on my AR for predator hunting at night. The light itself is very bright. I haven't had a chance to use it out in the field but it looks like it will do the trick. The scope mount appears well made and I think it will work fine. The case that everything comes in is a nice touch.

Items as described. A+
Very fast delivery. Item came as described. Everything works as it should. Battery came with some charge in it. Nice case. One thing, the box which houses the barrel/picatinny attachment was worn.. perhaps it's an old box with a new attachment or an old box with an old attachment. Over all very happy. And it is as described and what you pay for.
