Personal Favorite Snow Shovel
I bought this to use as a snow shovel. It works great for me. I personally hate having those steel edged shovels that catch on every little crack or bump in the drive way. This works great at removing snow and gliding over the bumps. I have a separate steel scrapper that I pull out if there is ice. Love how lightweight, short, and narrow this shovel is as well. Makes it super easy to throw in your car if you need to.

This is the shovel you need.
Assuming your experience is like mine, this is what will happen when you purchase this shovel:- You will need a snow shovel, preferably something smaller that will fit in your smaller patio sidewalks.- You won't find anything small enough in hardware stores so you will go to Amazon and read the reviews.- You will think, "Why does this boring old shovel get such amazing reviews?"- You will purchase the shovel because it is cheap.- The shovel will arrive at your home in a few days in the longest box you've ever received.- You'll open it up and say, "What a stupid old-fashioned hardware store shovel."- You'll start looking through Amazon for a Teflon-coated, fiberglass polyresined tempered steel core handled PrecipitationPusher3000™THEN, and finally then, it will snow like the dickens and you will take this shovel outside and you will realize it is the most amazing snow shovel anyone has ever put on this earth. It is THE MOST AMAZING SNOW SHOVEL IN EXISTENCE. This is what you should shovel snow with.
I've been through two tough winters with this scoop and it's been a life (and back) saver. The long handle makes it so you don't have to bend so much. The snow just slides right off and it's good at scraping down to the pavement. It works well with most kinds of snow even the packed stuff. I still have to get the metal square shovel out for frozen slush and ice though. The size of the scoop makes moving snow quick enough without the heavy lifting required with the big square snow shovels. The wooden handle and plastic scoop are also very light which also makes this shovel easy to use.

Hoping to never use it for snow!
I recently purchased this poly shovel for snow, just in case. I live on a houseboat and don't want to scratch up my deck paint. This will definitely do the job, without damaging the roof surface. It's an excellent quality poly material with a wooden neck and a poly handle. If I get lucky and don't need it for snow, I can always use it for shoveling horse manure into my tractor bucket. No worries about breaking. Just keep it away from those "product tester" horses, as they will give it a good workout. They do like to thoroughly examine things!
