Saved my Mantis tiller
We have an old Mantis tiller with an Echo engine that had an early CDI ignition system. The ignition parts for the SV-2AE engine were long discontinued, and couldn’t even be found on eBay. I bought this to try and sure enough, I plugged both wires in and connected the spark plug and was back up and running. The only modification I had to make was to trim a little bit of the spark plug boot off. It is a hard plastic boot and it was too long. It has an unusual connection to the spark plug where you have to remove the metal end piece, and the boot clips directly over the little threaded end of the plug.

Fixed the issue quick and easy
After mine burned out on a 40 mile ride this one has made my bike run so much better. As to everyone who says the spark plug doesn't fit must not realize that you're supposed to unscrew the top cap for the plug. I just ordered another one to get a head of the game that way I'm not stuck on a crazy mile bike ride again

Plug socket smaller than supplied plug…
The CDI ended up being for a smaller size plug than is used in the motor. I had to snip the end off the CDI plug and just wrap the wire around the Spark Plug and tape the rubber back on. It was a few dollars so I guess oh well.
