Owpawz Opawz Dog/Pet Hair Dye Gel Bright, Fun Shade, Semi-Permanent and Permanent Dye, Completely Non-Toxic Safe for Dogs, Multiple Colors Available

I have to say, this stuff is the bomb! I bought the tender green color for my 17 lb. Maltese/Poddle mix. His hair is white/very light cream with golden tips. I have read a few reviews stating that the 4 oz. gel is just not enough. I was shocked by this. It's either that they have a big dog or that they're smothering the hair dye all over their pooch's body. I was only dying my dog's ears and bunny tail and was left with 3/4 of the gel still in the container! The container states that it is PERMANENT ( if you're looking for a temporary dye for your dog, please look elsewhere) and lasts 20 washes! I colored my dog 2 days ago and have not tested how long this stuff really stays on your pup. Some reviews say that even over 20+ washes the dog hair dye stays on. Please take that in mind before purchasing this product. Second of all, the dye is more on the liquidity side. In my opinion, I didn't have a problem with this but for others it may be tougher to apply on your dog. I'm no expert or professional on coloring your pooch, but this stuff wasn't so difficult! It didn't take the whole day, more like 2 hours. Which in my opinion is a decent amount of time to spend when coloring your dog ( this was actually my very first time).Make sure you wear gloves because this stains your hands. It's quite messy so you need to put bleach in your bathtub after you're done.I'm not sugar coating anything in my review. This was actually my experience with opaws dog hair dye gel. I did not see any reviews on the green color, so this is the first. The color is not dark, it's like a light lime green. Very cute color! I'll post a few Pictures down below. I LOVE this product! It’s very vibrant and took pretty well to her fur! She is now a vibrant pink pomsky and it’s fantastic! I’m also going to be honest. She hates bath time and getting wet and she is a complete wiggle worm. I had it on her for 10-15 minuets instead of 20 like it says but I think it still turned out pretty good! Also, I did manage to get it all over my tub, and I thought it was going to be a pain to remove, but it came off really easily! I used some warm water and a wash cloth and it and right off without any staining!

Great product, tubes are a perfect size, easy application, vibrant colors. Colors don’t bleed into thers when rinsing. First time using, decided to dye my standard Shih Tzus tail for a Renaissance Faire. Wear gloves, used brushes to apply.DO NOT USE ON CATS (states this on the bottle, what’s safe for dogs may not be safenfor cats!)

Recommend professional use only. This is a permanent formula that will fade after several washes, but generally it grows out and is cut off in the grooming process. Best true color results on white or light coats.Shake the tube and also stir well to thoroughly mix the pigment for even coverage.I have much success with this in the salon.The rich shades are beautiful , BOLD and brilliant !

Amazing product that lasts a long time. It can get a bit messy with the application but totally worth it. The blue was so vibrant. So much fun for the summer.

Wow! My dogs tail looks so pretty!! I dyed it myself so it wasn't easy, lol. It didn't stay on there more than 3 minutes, so the color isn't lasting as long as it could. I think next time I will wrap the hair in tinfoil so he can't shake it everywhere. My other dog had his ears done and he was almost all pink with all the shaking he was doing. I somehow didn't foresee that.Overall, the product has been great! I'm shocked how well it stayed in with only 3 minutes instead of 15-20 minutes sitting on there before rinsing.

I bought the purple dye for my orange dog and it worked really well! I followed the instructions, washed and dried my dog, put on the dye for 20 minutes and rinsed it off again. The 20 minute wait can be a problem if you have a fidgety dog because they might shake! My dog didn't have an adverse reactions, so was absolutely fine. The dye itself smells really strong though when you first dye the dog, but I was impressed with how striking and rich the purple colour was. I did it a few weeks ago and some of it has lightened to a lilac and even pink, so it's lasted well but seems to rinse out easily enough if you decide you want it off.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This product stained my bathroom, stained my hands for a week. The die was put on equal and was patchy all over and I’ve washed my dog 15+ times, and he’s still pink, it was ment to be for a charity event, and ages later he’s still pink, I feel cruel, Iv ruined my dog!

Waste of money burnt my dogs head only used it once and instead of black made my dog turn blue shouldn’t be allowed on the market

Not theses could have been a lot better the colour when you put it onto the dog fur gets everyware and stains quite a lot also it goes on like a oil and takes ages too dry !

I tried the black dye on my fading black schnauzer. It washed straight out when I rinsed it with tepid water. Waste of time and money

Awful stuff. It's too runny doesn't even cling on to the fur. It even made my dogs fur turn pink do not buy this stuff

Two stars at best. It MAY last 25 washes (Ya right) but my guy didn't even GET one wash before it faded right out from bright "cookie monster blue" to a pathetic washed out pink. I paid over $200 to buy the dye to color a standard poodle and although he looked stunning to start with, it didn't last more than a couple of weeks before he faded out to a dull pink. SOOOO disappointed! All that work and expense for NOTHING!

It‘s straight up blue.I was expecting it to be black with blue hues in light, but it‘s just blue.. darkish blue.And fades in a day, maybe 2 if lucky.2 stara because it doesn’t have a terrible ammonia smell and didn’t irritate my dog.

Love the opawz dyes!i did my girls tail and they look AMAZING!! Ironically the purple was the only one I didn't have yet but these worked SO WELL! This photo is after one wash about a month after dying. Totally recommend these! They do not come out! Didn't stain my laminate floors or my grooming table when I knocked it over either!
