The 4 colors option isn’t quite as depicted
I bought the four colors option based on the photos...pink, blue, green, gold was what I was expecting for a fun spring/summer feel for our patio. The colors are actually way more Christmasy than I wanted - red, green, white, royal blue. Hard to tell from my pic but...I think maybe if I put them in blue tinted mason jars instead of clear it will help. As is, the product picture is definitely a little deceiving.

Love that they are bright enough to see the walkway
I use these as walkway lights in my front yard. Love that they are bright enough to see the walkway, and colorful. Also no more stakes in the ground to deal with when it is time to mow. I didn't add any kind of weight (sand, rocks etc) in the bottom, and have noticed 1 or 2 of them on their sides in the morning. Not a deal breaker for me, I just upright them and go on my day.

Not waterproof
Love these! I have 12 hanging from shepherd's hooks lining my front path. That was the first batch I ordered.Unfortunately I didn't heed the warning to use sealant. Well, I did for two of them & they are still fine. The others kept getting water in them & eventually most of them rusted & don't work anymore.Just received my new order & I'm sitting here applying silicone sealant. I think it's worth it.

I love these, and gave them as gifts
I love these, and gave them as gifts! I purchased the mason jars, and carrying handles separately, as well as Ashman Shepherds Hooks (package of 10) so that these can be hung outside. Just beautiful, and a great and unique gift to give. I gave a gift of 6 qty to my Daughter, and 4 Qty, to a good friend. I kept the 2 without Shepherds Hooks for myself~ I’m very happy with these solar lights. 😊 ♥️

I loved them. They look best in round jars
Once I figured out how to get these things working, I loved them. They look best in round jars. I frosted a jar and put netting in another for different effects. I leave the switch on so the caps recharge during the day. The lights only turn on automatically in the dark or if you cover the solar panel. I have left them on the window during the day to recharge then put them around for decoration. They are fun and look like fairy lights. They make great little hostess gifts too.

I like the 10 LED lights better than the 20 LED, because understandably they last longer with the battery.
UPDATE 3 MONTHS AFTER PURCHASE:I was disappointed that the lids started rusting after 3 months. I contacted Decem and they said they have now upgraded the lights and the rusting should no longer be a problem. Decem squared things with me, so I am restoring the review with 5 stars.JUST AFTER PURCHASE: I have been using these LED lights for about two months and I love them. I also purchased the 20 LED Solar lights that are just like these only twice the LED's.I wouldn't purchase the 20 LED lids again because you really can't see that much difference in the amount of light they produce but the batteries don't last as long.

Not just for decoration, useful during a power outage.
This is another review that I am writing about these LED jar lights. We live in the Northeast and during the humid summer weather, we get our share of power outages because of the thunder and lighting. We had thunderstorm power outage late at night recently and instead of lighting candles, I saw my six LED jar lights on our deck...I brought them in to replace the candles, which we always worry about forgetting to blow out and causing a fire. Well these lighted jars LED stayed lite until the next morning. No batteries required! So these jars will serve another more useful purpose (not just for decoration), if you have a power outage, they make a great night light too. I thinking of getting another set to have on hand. Again I recommend this product.

Quality product at a fair price
The lids are solid and fit perfect on any regular mason jar. They provide quite a bit of light, we use them with our herb garden in te kitchen window. The wires are really thin, seem pretty easy to break, but if you untwist them and put them in a jar and leave it alone, they should be fine.
