Cristal D'Arques Longchamp, Set of 4

Very good looking and perfect weight. Fits comfortably in hand.

I wanted this set of glasses for a specific purpose for a project I am doing. I chose this one for the size of 4.50" wide x 3.25" high. In reality the glass is only 3" wide at its widest point and is in fact 3 11/16" tall. So both measurements are incorrect. Returned as I could not use for stated purpose. However, the glass is pretty and came well packaged.

At first glance they look identical to the ones that I received for my wedding shower several years ago.However, the moment you pick up a glass, you will notice the difference in weight. Much lighter and they don’t make that distinctive crystal “bell “ sound when you flick the rim with your finger.I guess I have to keep them until I find some vintage ones.

Cest la vie, mais le francais le sait mieux!Its like drinking a scotch in Versailles. If you wanna drink out of a Waterford Lismore Old Fash Doub Tumbler without thinking about lead poisoning, then I swear this is the closest classiest thing you will find on the market to it, period, & at a fraction of the Waterford. Put a Waterford sticker on it & u wont tell the diff. Came across the brand at Harris Scarfe Canberra but they dont sell this particular style so I ordered from Amazon US (cos AMAZON AU suks). Arrived in 2-3 days time. Super happy even with the postage. Worth every silica pieces that has gone in to make these beautiful pieces!! Life is too short to drink out of sht glassware. Packaging could be better but my other half is my soulmate not a trophy wife.

I received this set as a wedding gift from Macys. A few got broken so I bought replacements through Amazon. Although the name of the glasses is exactly the same and they look the same these are no nearly has heavy as the ones purchased through Macys. Definitely a lesser quality product but also a much lower price tag.
