Hitorijime My Hero 4

I've been buying the paperback for this series after I watched the anime and so far I've always been satisfied with the general expirience.First of all, every manga I've bought so far has come in perfect condition and way earlier than expected! I've also only needed to head to the post office once to retrieve my package (all the other times I've gotten it directly home).Secondly, this is the first volume that isn't featured in the anime so the plot was new to me.SPOILERS!I love that their relationship is starting to grow further and Setagawa is opening up more to Kousuke, even if the progress is slow but that's understandable from the whole rollercoaster that is Setagawa's life. This volume also made me really dislike his mother, who I did not have a big grudge on in the anime even if she was a prick there as well. I really hope things get better for Setagawa ;-;.I also adore the last chapter with Ayaka and the other girl! I love Ayaka and that other girl based on what I read about her and I hope we get more of them in the other volumes (I've read up to this volume btw)SPOILER OVER!Overall great publishers, story and delivery! Will continue supporting by buying the rest of the volumes when I got extra cash :)

Volume 4 is a volume that has a few issues. The first issue is the content to advance the plot is pretty light which left me desiring for more. Little progress is made in Kousuke and Setagawa’s relationship, for example the ring Setagawa was given seems to have some importance here but nothing is overtly stated about it. Even when the plot uses it as something that Setagawa cherishes, nothing is said between him and Kousuke about it. I would have liked for something along these lines to be explored. Even Setagawa wondered if or why Kousuke said nothing when he realized he wasn’t wearing it.That said, the angst was interesting for that plot line and carried the little content forward in a way that made me feel things. Similarly seeing how Kensuke and Young Master deal with Kousuke and Setagawa during this period of time is interesting too (loved Kensuke pulling Young Master and Setagawa to bed and Setagawa and Young Master having a heart to heart).I also didn’t necessarily enjoy the yuri oneshot in this as it felt kind of out of place. Sure it enhanced one of the characters sisters but it came at the cost of content.Along those lines the two random bonus stories for the main couple was fun but again was in the way of the main story. Didn’t necessarily like the Christmas tree one for example.I can only hope the next volume returns us to the highs of the series. Also we need Fukushige and Yamabe to have more of a role than just cameos. Young Master and Kensuke need some love in their love life as well.

Good storyline, way more material than the anime (:

I just love this series! With each volume we get to see Kousuke and Masahiro's relationship deepen and it's lovely to watch. I love the side characters, especially Kousuke's friends and Hasekura, as well and it's fun to see their reactions to different situations. This volume has even more angst than usual though, and my heart just broke for one of the characters. The situation does further the story and develop the characters though. This volume does have a few intimate scenes, as usual, but nothing that requires a censor bar.The main story is a bit shorter this time around as the last 10-15% of the volume is a short story about Haskekura's older sister, Ayaka. The story itself is interesting, but not amazing. It's a fun extra though.Overall, this is a great addition to the series, and I definitely recommend it to fans of the series.

it came really fast, it was brand new and had no scratches! just as if you bought it from a book store! i was super captivated by this volume, i read it in 45 minutes in class! so much goes down and it's so worth it! definitely a great read if you're looking into finishing the series! - finn! (i use my dads account so ignore that)

Each installment brings a new test and challenge for this couple add in Setagawa's issues with his mom and the fear of being caught in a forbidden relationship makes this series such a good one! I can't wait to read what happens next for these two there's so many twist and turns for Souske and Setagawa.

I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!

The book shipped quickly but it looks used. I am a neat freak when it comes to how my books look and I am a bit disappointed that this book looks like it’s been used. It’s a good buy but disappointing that it has cracks in the cover.

Eu acho incrível como hitorijime mudou de um mangá ecchi para um mangá mais profundo. Acredito que, assim como Sakurasou no pet na kanojo, esse mangá se apegou ao ecchi lá no início para atrair o público. As pessoas falando sobre o mangá está mudando estão se referindo a profundidade dos personagens, pois cada volume que passa TODOS os personagens ficam mais e mais profundos. E isso é um grande mérito, pois é difícil trabalhar com muitos personagens, principalmente, quando eles pouco se cruzam na história. O ecchi e as cenas de s3x0 continuam, mas tem o seu propósito e não é mais gratuíto. Além de que, essas são uma das coisas normais da vida! O mangá tem me impressionado a cada volume e, principalmente, a sua resolução de problemas. No primeiro volume quase dropei por só ter ecchi, mas fico feliz de eu ter dado mais uma chance!

I really like the hitorjime my hero series, I own now every english paperback available for it. Out of all the ones I've ordered this one is the only one that came damaged, I dont know why or how but the binding at the top has a piece tearing off, a rip along the binding for the backing, and a bent spot that looks like it had been shoved into something (which is highly likely as none of the books that came together were wrapped separately)
