Needs more voice commands, but works great
I asked if it works with google home and gave an example of a command I would like it to do and was given a confirmation it could do that. However, after purchasing found it could not. The voice commands are limited but the app remote functions are not. You can train the app remote to any existing remotes. Would of given 5 stars if I wasn’t misrepresented.Update: The company has contacted me twice apologizing and has sent me a list of voice commands supported. It does work perfectly, just wish it had more functionality with what the voice commands can do. Adding an input selector would be huge. Seems they are working to add more functionality too. doesn't work with all IR devices
I have a denon AVR and the DIY setup using the original Denon remote to learn the signal did not work. The Denon remote is still functional so it isn't a problem with the remote. I tried the DIY setup using my Vizio TV remote and it did pickup the signal so it seems the DIY learning mode is just not compatible with all IR devices. Going to try the broadlink to see if it works with the Denon AVR. Just wanted to add a general comment about IR technology. What a complete mess. No standardization. IR needs line of sight. In 2018 why hasn't there been a technology to replace? Bluetooth is a mess as well. 10m range? Come on. Why not just standardize on wifi. Poor battery technology? Come on Tesla.Update: the broadlink had many more devices to choose from including amplifier/audio devices like the Denon. Also the learning mode on the broadlink worked properly so it is safe to say something is wrong with the Zelay where it is not compatible with all IR devices.

Alexa can control it!
Used it to run my air condtioner. Alexa can do almost every comand. App shows temp in Celsius don't know how to change it. Want another for tv downstairs. Was very easy to set up just picked out air conditioner brand. Alexa works with cable box and tv. She is not consistent changing channels.

It works
This product works. I can turn on my air-conditioner from my phone 30 miles away no problem. It also works with Alexa. It took me a while to find a product that worked I sent back three other ones but this one does work.

Not work with Alexa
Work fine with ios app, but not work fine with Alexa devices, Im ready linked the skill, add devices, but Alexa always says "Device not response"

Very limited
I wanted to like this Smart Remote, I really did.I am pretty tech savvy, my home is full of automated devices such as smart switches, bulbs etc. and I went through every combination or idea I could think of, but this Smart Remote has fallen way below my expectations.While it can control my Samsung TV and gives me the ability to switch it on and off via Google Assistant (but not control the volume or anything else), it can't control my AVR (Denon Home Theater Receiver) and doesn't even have AVRs in its database.When I tried adding the AVR commands via the learning (DIY method) the smart remote did not even respond to the Power On command on the original remote.Moreover, there is absolutely no way of using any DIY commands in a scene or automation schedule.Essentially, the DIY part turns your phone into another universal handheld remote and nothing more.
