Jolly good, but not quite the same as the Mac
I do enjoy Stevie Nicks music, either playing with Fleetwood Mac or solo. But, just from this concert, I got the impression of a kind of "standard" gig. Of course, it might be just familiarity with Fleetwood Mac that makes it feel like this.

Mystical, Loud, Magical, Ebullient, Fantastic!!!
Stevie Nicks - Her name conjures up so many memories, stricking and mystical sounds - And this Dvd shows Stevie at her most magical. The live performances staged with the magnificent Colorado Red Rocks in the backdrop prove to make a stunning, colourful and vibrant concert. The audience isnt overly big, which creates a close feeling, intimate to her fans. Her vocals are stunning, so powerful - drowning out the synths, backup singers and drums. Her trademark mysticism is very evident - white doves appear over the crowds before the show-stopping Edge of Seventeen. My favourite moments are her moving performance of Beauty and the beast, Has Anyone and also the stonking version of Stand Back and Edge of seventeen.Stevie Fans must have this DVD! She looks beautiful, her soul pours out in this 1 hour special....Buy!

Stevie Nicks on Fire
I loved the VHS version of Stevie at Red Rocks (from her "Rock a Little" tour), but it was wearing thin. The DVD hasn't messed about with the excellent performance (thankfully), but the sound and video are slightly crisper, and your VHS player won't last forever ...Apart from her performances with Fleetwood Mac, there isn't much of Stevie live worth considering. This happens to be a very good concert, fully representative of Stevie Nicks at her quirky best. Waddy Wachtel's leadership of her backing band shows why she used him so much on stage and in the studio (as had Linda Ronstadt).

Stevie Nicks-Live at Red Rock
This DVD PERSONIFIES WHAT A STEVIE NICKS FAN WOULD EXPECT TO SEE AT A CONCERT.SHE SUNG SOME EXCELLENT SONGS INCLUDING FLEETWOOD MAC CLASSICS.& IS CLEARLY VERY GOOD LIVE. MY ONLY REAL COMPLAINT WAS THAT THE DVD WAS FAR TOO SHORT ,HOWEVER THIS MAKES YOU WANT TO LOOK FOR OTHER CONCERTS.IWAS HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE BUT BELIEVE IT WOULD BE GOOD TO KNOW THE CONTENT BEFORE BUYING SO YOU DO NOT END BUYING SEVERAL SAMEY DVD'S.

For hard core fans to buy.
anyone else maybe watch it on Prime. Not as good as her work with Fleetwood Mac. There are a couple of real gems but mostly it's dull and sloppy.

Some issues with this
Boyed by the positive reviews posted for this concert, and being a fan of the Mac, and liking Stevie Nicks distinctive vocal, I bought it.Not bad, but not brilliant. Some dodgy editing. Close ups of Nicks are not in sync with the footage. And as for the top billing of Frampton and Fleetwood. Well, blink and you'd miss the latter. As for the former.....can't recall seeing him at all to be honest.A very dubious dance sequence featuring Nicks and some effeminate looking bloke.Fortunately not long in duration. There you have it!
