Works as intended
Used it to clone my current nvme drive to a bigger one. Took a while to copy the OS but it worked well. Now my old drive is an external for cheap. Good stuff.

Works Well
I needed an interface to recover data from an Intel 600P, an M.2 PCI-Express NVMe SSD pulled from an Acer Nitro 5. Using this product I was able to mount the drive via USB without issue and recover files. This shipped in a plastic container with the aluminum drive housing, a USB C to C connector, USB C to A connector, small screw driver, extra bag for storage, and instructions.

You are better of buying a USB 3.0 flash drive. It is much faster than this.
Pro:. Able to make old drive a USB drive. Read is very fast.Con: disappointed with write speed. It was inconsistenly writing between 40 mbps and 20 mbps. Runs very hot.Seller? I asked seller if there is a driver for this and just said no. No so very hopeful.

Worked so far.
Don't know if the USB C connection works because my laptop isn't 3.1 gen 2 capable but the 3.0 A definitely connected the Nvme.

Lightning fast, compact and portable size, easy to install :)
Update 2022: tried using this with several 10 Gbps ports and this enclosure just drops out on those when data transfers are attempted.I'm using this with a Samsung NVME SSD as a flash drive replacement. It's lightning fast over USB 3.0 (getting 440+ MB/s reads and writes easily), much faster than even those high end and expensive flash drives. It's slightly larger than a regular flash drive but that's expected. It tends to run pretty hot, but that's not the enclosure's fault at all: the enclosure is doing its job properly and dissipating the heat from the drive! Turns out NVME drives run hot by default.I'm currently unable to test USB 3.1 gen 2 (10 Gbps) performance with this enclosure as the only 3.1 gen2 ports on my PC are inaccessible due to the chassis of the enclosure hitting the edge of the I/O shield on the back of my PC. Will have to assume it is as expected (expecting around 950+ MB/s).All-in-all, I do recommend this enclosure: it's light, portable, and fast :)Will have to get an extension cable or something to test its 3.1gen2 performance sometime in the future; will update review when I get a chance.

The screw is very low quality
The box even didn't give me any chance to see whether it works. The top left screw of the box cannot be unscrewed and thus I cannot open the box and connect my SSD to the box.

Doesn't work
The LED light comes on but only one of my computers could recognize it on one of its USB 2 ports, making the drive pretty useless.

Firmware Update is a Must
Be sure to update the JMS583 firmware to 2.05 to avoid overheating and disconnects. Find it on the web.
