OK, so, I figured, 5 tapes for about what I'd pay Brother for a single tape or two...Results: Blue and Green both jammed (first two photos)Red: 'ink' skipped (3rd photo)Red: Also printed black dot for no good reason, ruining the label (4th photo)White: Skips (5th photo)Yellow: Worked perfectly on the 3 test labels I did!! Woot! Got ONE! (6th photo)White: Tested for completeness, after all didn't want to appear biased... Skipps, see 5th photoAnd to be totally unbiased... I included what it looks like if I print using Brother cartridges.. Perfect, not had a single issue..So, to begin with: NEVER had to wind the cartridges when I started using them with brother, just pop them in and we are good to go. Why do I have to wind them 'tight' OK, this could have been the problem with the first two... When is it 'tight'? I expected it to turn harder or something, so I wound the first one about 4 times Didn't seem to, so put it in and printed, advanced it to cut... horrible mess.. (Oh, using the Cube, the $99 printer - Excellent printer btw, and it is only days old, so not at fault.OK, so I figured I didn't wind it far enough, so on the 2nd one (Green), I wound it about 10 laps before I gave up and put it in...Tested Red next, and noticed the small print that said 1 or 2 turns. (Would that be 1 or 2 complete rotations? Or hold with your fingers and turn once or twice, maybe 1/2 turn (rotation) total?I went back to try to get one of the first two to feed back right, and it sorta did, but messed up printing and stuck and jammed up again.. for a minute, I thought I was going to get this to work.I've used Brother cartridges for about 10 years and never had: 1. To 'wind' anything, and 2. had a jam, or any problem at all with them... the just worked, and worked perfectly...Anyway, sent it back. I also got some 1/2" ones, I'm going to test those, even though I don't need them right now, because of my results here...

Finished with the sample from brother, then tried this tape.Jammed first try. When I finally got it out and tried again, it printed White letters on black background and the clear part pealed off. Thinking I might have gotten a bad cartridge, tried another. It also jammed and printed reverse of what was expected. No adhesive on the tape either. Junk - returned and will buy the Brother brand. Very disappointed. Yes, I did as the instructions stated and turned the feed spool counterclockwise. Don't waste your money here.

So these stickers (when the cartridge didn’t malfunction) were great! They stick nicely, hold up in the freezer, peel easily and are easy to install. However, 1 cartridge out of the 2 packages I received jammed up so bad it was unable to be fixed. Amazon customer service was fantastic the first time it happened and replaced the 6 pack. The second time I didn’t try. Very frustrating that it happened twice because overall I really like this product.

Quick, painless ordering. Order of magnitude less expensive than name brand. Colors are good. Pastels are kind of fun. Tapes are a bit snug on first use, but get better. Ease of removal depends on the material to which it is stuck. I use it mostly for plastic bins. Would recommend these to my friends.

I am addicted to labeling. I bought this package with different colors and I never can get the yellow tape to work. When I exchange the tape roll in my label maker & try to print, the yellow tape separates from the clear adhesive tape. It's the only color I have ever had issues with. Other than that, I really enjoy labeling with all the other colors.

For and print fine in Brother label printer at a great price. Color could be a little brighter and print seems a little washed out on some of the colors but all in all works great for me, since I needed lots of labels on cables and network panels or faceplates when wiring my house.

It is so nice to be able to have colorful labels that allow an eye-catching note. Great to get attention on items.

I could hardly believe these were every bit as good as the brand label for my Brother label maker T a fraction of the price.
