Good toaster for a good price
I already had the red De'Longhi kettle and wanted to add the red toaster. It was an absolute bargain from the Amazon Warehouse. The slots are a little small for the bread we like - but I find that's true of most toasters.

Small loaf
I didn’t expect too much, but the brand is well known so I did expect something better than I got.The slot for the bread is too small (see the picture attached) so you have to put it back in after you have turned it over. The other problem is that one side is almost burnt while the other is hardly toasted. So the decal on the top of the toaster that tells you not to leave it unattended is correct, because if you do you get a slice of bread, burned one side, hardly toasted the other and one end in the same condition as it was before you started.

simple and smart
Part of a smart range with chrome trimeasy down sections and wide enough for sliced bread which pops up easily-very good value.

Useless
If I could give this zero stars, I would. My previous De'Longhi 4 slot toaster lasted about 10 years and worked really well. That's why I bought this one. I no longer needed the 4-slot version. I always toast bread from frozen, so the defrost feature was a must.I am so disappointed with this one. It does not toast evenly. I have to remove the bread and rotate it about 3 times to get it brown all over. The edges of the bread don't get toasted. I like to butter my toast cold and the toast goes soggy, even when placed in a toast rack.I sometimes like to toast tea cakes and hot cross buns. That's a mistake. They get stuck to the sides and don't pop up and almost catch fire. One of my worst recent purchases.

Makes great toast
The media could not be loaded. Just the right size for one person and fits in perfectly in my little kitchen. Evenly toasts a slice of bread so it gets a 5* from me .

After six months perdet
Uneven toasting doesnt fit normal size bread! This is not a good toaster at all! Unless you stand over it and keep swaping bread from side to side you get one side uncooked! It is really quite expensive for a flimsly built in efficent machine. After 6 months I've binned it bought yRussel Hobs far superior in every way!
