If your oven is tripping, this could be the cause
Firstly, please consult a professional when working with electronics, if in any doubt, seek help, the last thing you want is to start a fire or potentially shock yourself or die.Righty, now onto the details.. After taking my range out from storage to fit into the kitchen, I had noticed it kept tripping the MCB, the wiring was fine as the previous induction hob that was there had been wired up and I knew that the oven worked before putting it in storage. What can happen in some cases, is that the insulator in the element can degrade and will allow for the heating wire in the element to come into contact with the outer case of the element, causing the MCB to trip.As I am a competent DIY'er I sought to fix this issue, I couldn't seem to find a value-priced element, until I found this one.Upon taking out the old element, which is a bit of a faff, having to pull out the oven, disconnect the 6.5mm cable, the gas quick disconnect tail and remove the rear casing and the internal element shield, I was able to fit in the new one. Everything was dandy, apart from one major issue. The screw hole to hold the element into place were off. I wasn't able to fully attach the element as the hole didn't align properly (As seen by the screw hole at the 4 o'clock position) This didn't stop me as the element was grounded with the screwholes near the terminals. In a perfect world, I should've drilled a new hole to secure it, but as mentioned, it was already grounded to the rest of the oven and it was sturdily mounted near the terminals.Overall, I can't fault this element as It's been working great since the installation, heats up fast and does what it's supposed to do, just a shame that the hole was about an inch off.

Inexpensive way to fix the oven
I bought this for my Kenwood ck305 range oven where the previous element had stopped working entirely. Very good price. The wattage slightly higher than original- this is 2500w whereas the original is 2200 or 2300w , but worked fine.As other reviewers have mentioned , the rear panel needs to be removed to install , but this isn't a problem . You do need a second person when reattaching though .Found YouTube instructions not for exactly the same model , but was close enough as principle was the same.Fast , one day delivery which was great too.

The part fitting.
The element was straight forward to fit, yes, you do have to remove the rear pannel on Kenwood range cookers, but that's not a problem. The oven is now quieter and for once it now cooks evenly. Were very happy with it, it has a higher wattage rating than the original but don't worry, it works great.Top seller delivering it on time as described in the listing..

Fitted our kenwood ck305-1 oven
Very easy to change the old element for this one; my element had been going for a while as there were different temperatures within the oven, and when it went altogether we changed it for this element. First run after changing I burned the food as was so used to cooking with a dodgy element 😆 Still working well, would recommend
