Very solid device. Easily resettable combination. Very strong magnet.

Without using the adhesive backing that came with the product I love that it magnetically attaches to my mailbox. It’s small enough to be hidden, but sizable enough to keep a key. I do recommend attaching one key ring as it was difficult to pull the key out without one. Our box was used multiple times a day and held up nicely. Even after a few unnecessary drops there is a chip to the magnet, but not the body of the casing at all. I also love the sliding door to keep the numbers discreetly hidden.My only complaint is that if you accidentally reset the code on the wrong numbers it’s nearly impossible to get back into. It’s not the worst con because a backup unlocking mechanism means increased odds of accessing the key without the code.

I wish I could give this zero stars. I got it a little over a year ago, and we used it once. When I went to use it today, it would not open, despite having the correct combination. I was also unable to reset it using the instructions. The reset dial is completely frozen. I couldn't even move the dial with a screwdriver and ended up injuring myself trying.Now, I have to figure out a way to smash the box to get the spare key out. Of course, it is slightly over a year so out of warranty. Terrible!!

Easy to set the combo, magnet holds where you put it.

Clearly this isn't going to be used at Ft. Knox to guard National gold, but it is a good little lock for keeping honest people honest. And, it's perfect for our application. We wanted something small to put inside one of those fake rock key hiders and this was a great solution. So even if someone finds the fake rock with the house key, they still need to know the combination.

I purchased this lock box when I had contractors coming and going from my home. It was an easy and hassle free way to leave a key out with some added security. The lock is sturdy and discreet, so it is easy to tuck away when leaving a key out. It is also easy to change the combination which offers an added peace of mind if you are looking for a lock box you can leave out for a one time contractor/pet sitter/etc.

This product worked well for us for a couple days. I'm not sure how it happened, but the mechanism will no longer close and were now unable to use it. It was the cheapest and less sturdy option so I guess your getting what your pay for. It could be that the code was changed by accident so I suggest reading the instructions before you throw them away.

I LOVED the fact that it has a lock (that was easy to set up); so even if someone were to find it, the key is still safe. Box is watertight, strongly magnetic, and comes with alternate self adhesive plate if you don't have a secure magnetic outdoor location. It's also completely watertight; unlike any other key hiders I've had. I love that there's a protective cover that slides over the lock that not only keeps out grime, but further makes it a mystery to open for anyone who should not have access to it. Very sturdy and well made.
