This worked better than I thought. PAL consoles are limited to SD resolution due to Microsoft (for whatever reason) not including it in the PAL region, Only America. Soft modding will allow this function but a stock UK console will not output HD resolutions. Mine is soft modded and runs as an NTSC console, thus allowing HD resolutions. 1080i didn't work for me (issue with my TV I think) but 720p worked fine. Expect a fuzzy picture if using a stock PAL console

Wont output HD signals, no mention of it needing external power but it does have a micro usb input so went ahead and tried that too (basically stuck a micro usb cable on) but still the same, also I get this annoying flickering at the top of the screen. In my opinion its definitely not worth it, will be returning this and trying out the pound hd cable instead.

This works fine, not had problem with 1.4 xboxes which other brands do however its cheap and the wires became exposed after a few light tugs. Still works at the moment however

This Cable Is brillaint makes the picture look miles better then the standard Scart/Phono wires. To make full use of this cable on a PAL Europe console, you need to softmod your console and set the Video region to NTSC which will unlock the HD resoultions.

This does not work correctly as stated in other reviews.

Not good, not worth the money. Picture quality was fuzzy and not great at all. Don't waste your money

This item is so easy to use and truly brings the very first X Box right into today’s technology the usb into the back of Super New Oled TV took seconds but the pictures from the games I am playing are being brought up to today’s fantastic specs one very happy customer!!!!!!!!!!

Can’t fault this little cable. Upscales the picture for sharper crisper graphics. No messing just plug in and off you go.
