FELCOModel 611 Pruning Saw with Sheath, 13-inch Straight Blade

I bought this for my wife as frankly i was getting tired of her coming to me with 1-2" thick branches that she needed cut up for stakes or landscape boundary or whatever. Firing up the chain saw seemed overkill; on the other hand getting out the blunt handsaw and working at it for 5 minutes was a PITA. So when i saw this Felco product, i knew the quality would be excellent, and sure enough this is a great quick pruning saw for small stuff, probably max 2" unless you are a super patient person.

The two Felco pruning saws 611 and 621 are the BEST ! With thin blades, minimal set, and excellent tooth design, this is clearly the smoothest, quickest saw available.

Felco brand tools are top line tools this hand saw will cut a 3-4 inch tree branch with no problem.

I have used a folding orchard saw for years. It was a great tool, but beginning to slow down with age. I have used Felco 2 pruners for almost everything else, so looked to Felco for a new pruning saw. The other day, wind knocked down a small clump of 2-4" diameter trees next to the road. This saw was almost as quick as a chain saw in cutting them into sizes I could haul out. Excellent tool.

AS always Felco products do not disappoint. This is a great little saw for pruning tree branches that are about 2 inches thick or smaller. I use it almost every day. Highly recommend the saw.

I've found that the FELCO Model 611 pruning saw is very sharp and is quite ergonomic. I used it a lot and wold purchase it again if anything ever happened to the now I now use.

I had an advantage, I tried one before buying one. Although the cost is significant this saw is such an AWESOME SAW. People I kayak camp and bacpack with can't believe how easy this saw cuts wood.
