You can’t go wrong with a Myerchin!
This is one of my favorite folders to carry. Handle is beautiful! The only complaint I have is that Myerchin changed these knives. The older version uses the lanyard eyelet to unlock the knife or marlinspike which I preferred over this version.

Might be too pretty for work but a definite buy
Timely arrival. Item as advertised. First impression "I think I just found my new Daily Carry blade for work!!"Not so pricey as my normal benchmade or zero tolerance knives, but looking forward to putting it to work at sea and shore.

Heave and solid knife
Wife got this for me as a gift. This is a great knife! Heavy, substantial and feels well made. So far, no rattles or ill fitting pieces. Blade is super sharp and the marlinspike is solid with no burrs or sharp pieces.

Nothing that special
When I got the knife it looked great, machined well, beautiful bone handle. Quickly I noticed the locking device for the blade did not engage, it took some filing to get get it to clear the blade at all, some lubrication. It still sticks somewhat, has to be manually pushed into place. Not so great for an important safety feature. Then I took it sailing, I always carry a knife, and I usually get wet, swimming or otherwise; in salt water. I noticed in short order that the metal was rusting quite a bit, even pitted. I admit I didn't rinse it out after every dunking but this was more than surface rust. Not what I would expect from high grade stainless, like the stuff on my boat that's been there for 20 years with no rust. My $16 marine big box store plain Jane knife fares much better. Not as pretty though. If you get one of these, rinse it thoroughly after every use and check the blade lock.

Blade pivot s little loose. Easily corrected.
Blade pivot a little loose. Easily corrected. I like the knife. I am not a sailor, but tie knots that sometimes get tight and wet. Hmm. Marlin spike will be useful. Also for prying misc stuff without resorting to the blade.
