Slow to germinate
Planted these on 12th August , all coming up nicely. They were a lot slower than the wallflowers to germinate, but are coming along just great now.

Not many have germinated
Usually Sweet William are easy to grow from seed. This is the first time I have tried Fothergills and not this variety before, but very few have germinated. I have had to go to my usual supplier to get some more seed.

Excellent growth
Planted these last year for flowering this year. I have now got a bumper crop of Sweet Williams and they look brilliant

Seeds still not up enough to transfer
Seeds have been in for 4 weeks and still only first 2 leaves. Can't transplant as nowhere near big enough. Don't think they will make much. Quite disappointed.
