Selle SMP TRK Medium Extreme Saddle, Black/Yellow/Red

I've tried a lot of different saddle options on my mountain bike and these selle smp is by far the best ive felt. I could not ride more than 15-20 minutes seated without going completely numb in the nether regions before I found this saddle. Now I can ride all day and not pay for it tomorrw. It feels like your sitting on one of those old metal tractor seats that perfectly conformed to your body, but at the same time its skinny and you can pedal fine and slide forward and back on the saddle with no change in comfort. I also feel locked in and cradeled. very good seat would suggest to any one who has experienced pain or numbness while riding.

We own two of the SMP TRK Extreme saddles. They are very comfortable and make it easy to ride long miles over a wide variety of terrain. The design is spot on and the saddle has some of the lowest profile rails available.However, after 2,000 miles of riding, the bottom of the covering on one of the saddles has begun to split. I reached out to Selle SMP, following the manufacturer link here on Amazon. They were very nice and connected me to the distributor for the USA. That distributor, Albabici, said I have to contact the 'SELLER' (their emphasis). So, it's kind of a circle of Zero Support on these saddles. I've resorted to covering the split with Shoe Goo for now, so it doesn't spread.A shame. They really are great saddles.

Much more comfortable than most saddles, although this model seems hard compared to other seller saddles.

I don't need to explain a whole lot about this Unit, as Everyone who knows The Selle saddles Handmade in Italy, You know what to expect, An Excellent Long distance riding saddle!. I had purchase one of The first SMP TRK's Years back, and wasn't made quite as good as This one, it came apart at The seem in a small area on The inside, but only after I had used it for a long time! this newer Extreme version is a much better build quality, and The Flames look great! I'm sure This Model will last for many years.

Comfy. My rides have become more endurable. Put it on my 2019 KTM 292 prowler enduro bike. I'm on the heavy side (178 cm, 96 kg) ride singles 2-3 times a week, 18 - 35 km, 270 - 420 meter climb per ride. Switchbacks and small jumps.

Got this seat for my Peloton. It is great and I have not had any discomfort since getting it. Would highly recommend.

A little tricky getting it to be level when you mount it because of the shape it is hard to tell and not because it is hard to do. I got a piece of plastic pipe and placed it over the top parts and compared it to my top bar. I thought that I would be very disappointed when riding it because it looks like it has a lot of foam padding. My experience with too much padding is that it is fine if you only ride a mile or two but over time you are sliding around on the foam and it is not at all comfortable. With this saddle that is not the case. When you sit on it there is not even the sense of sinking into the foam. I am 200+ so it surely would have sunk in under my weight. Instead I felt so firmly seated that there was no sliding around unless I wanted to slide forward or backward. I have had a saddle from this company before and it held up very well. This definitely does not put pressure where you do not want pressure. As far as value I think that it is a very good deal.
