I gave it 3 stars because of some the functionality is slow without letting you know it is working on it:Like accessing 'Now Playing' list will take some time when you attempt to access if you are playing from the card versus the device.Worked after a full charge on my laptop and connected to Bluetooth headphones without issues.The pros:All of the buttons work how they are labeled (see my other reviews of these little devices)Did not read the manual to setup or get MP3s onto the device or to load a card up with MP3s.After the charge, the device was a little MP# playing machine.If you are playing through a song and the screen goes black, then you have press the power button on the side to re-animate and get access to the menu, volume, etc. as none of the buttons on the front work until the power button is pressed.If you connect the device to a computer while playing a song, you can choose to charge and play instead of charge and transfer, which can be nice when you just cannot stop listening to that one song by that one lady/guy/group/etc.Cons:Bluetooth will not stay connected between connections to a computer.To play music from card, select again through Music menu, Card Folder, and it will re-create a play list again.The larger the music collection is, the longer it will take for the device to re-create the playlist.Reconnect and then re-select your song to play again.Some MP3 files will not play on the device and the manual tells you to re-compress them using the MPEG I Layer 3! All my files did not play on the device and I had to remove them from the device or it would pause for a second and then skip the file, onto the next one.

I am exceedingly pleased with these players (I bought 2). I wanted my teens to be able to listen to their own music but didnt want the trouble of other apps or internet activity (more to monitor). For what it does (play music and record), it is exactly what I was hoping for. And was a well received gift by both. For the price its a no brainer! Id definitely buy it again in the same situation or recommend it to anyone needing a simple, portable music player, oh and the blue-tooth is a great plus!

The description online does not match the paperwork that came with the MP3 player. 2 hour battery life with Bluetooth headphones. It was a gift which was very embarrassing.

I bought this to listen to music at work instead of using my phone. Very easy to load music from my computer and easy to navigate to play what i want. Sound quality is very good for me. The built-in speaker not so great, but i use headphones anyway! No big deal for me . Very user friendly.Overall,great for the price!

I love this mp3 player. It was easy to drag and drop from one to another and has some great options such as the recorder for my daily journal also support audible. It is small and compact plus the battery last forever. Sound great and small enough to have when going anywhere.

Great for listening to music or recording, but does not work with Audible app files and mobi ebook files. Can't put audible app on it.

Does everything it says it should do.

Its sleek and Bluetooth compatible! My son is going to love it when he opens it for Christmas this year!
