A great stool! A big help for a larger person with mobility issues.
Due to health reasons, I have gained quite a bit of weight over the past two years. I have a decent-quality office chair I have been using for working at my desk, but was finding that my back was getting worse and worse using it all day as my primary chair. I've also been setting up a new space for making artwork, and needed a better chair for the new long table. I was needing a chair that would allow me to get up and down and move around easily while working. I was initially looking into buying a new office chair, but while checking on chairs on Amazon, saw the kind of rolling stools used by tattoo artists and mechanics, etc. I realized that a stool like this would be the perfect thing for my art table, as I have a big heavy tarp covering the rug in that room, and a stool with wheels would be a lot more mobile on it than a big chair with wheels. A stool would also fit entirely under the table. One thing that worried me was how much weight one of these stools would *really* be able hold safely, and also still allow me to roll around. Due to the afore-mentioned health issues, I weigh around 250 pounds. So the stool would need to be able to deal with that magnitude of weight for extended periods, and hopefully have adequate padding for my frame. I am not a tall person at all, so the center of gravity would also have to work for 5’ 2” me. After reading lots and lots of reviews for stools (thanks, Amazon shoppers!) I decided on this KKTONER model. It was affordable, and could support a certain amount of weight easily, as other buyers (thank you!) attested. I went ahead and ordered it. Let me state here that I detest having to assemble anything. I am not a patient person, and was anticipating this stool to be complicated to put together. But it wasn’t! There is a simple set of instructions enclosed. You just stick the wheels into the wheel-holding ring-shaped thing, assemble the tube that the seat goes into, attach the seat to the tube, then insert the tube into the hole in the wheel-holding ring-looking thing. The only thing I did wrong, as I didn’t notice this before I put in the screws the first time, was I attached the stool top to the pole facing in the wrong direction. (All the screws- I think there were four- and the L-shaped tool to tighten them- are enclosed with the stool.) But then I noticed the word “FRONT” with an arrow pointing on the bottom of the stool. It was black on black, so I didn’t see it at first. I had installed the seat backwards. So I undid the screws, and re-assembled it properly. And that was the most “hassle” the assembly gave me. All in all- it was a breeze to put together! Took about fifteen minutes- tops. Next, you hold on to the lever that controls the height of the stool to adjust it to the level you prefer. This is a *very* responsive mechanism! I was surprised at how quickly it moved the seat upwards. The seat went up- and fast- to way too high a level for me to find user-friendly. But it was simple to just grab the lever, and press on the top of the stool to have it sink to a level that worked for me. It's a really nice-looking stool, too. I got the white one. It looks sleek, and professional. The seat is sturdy and well-padded, and easily holds its shape, even after hours under my weight. The seat is very level. After sitting on this stool for a long time, my rear gets a little sore, but this slight discomfort is nothing compared to the back-seizing stiffness caused by my office chair. And it’s a pretty good office chair, with lots of padding (and an extra cushion I added) but the stool is way easier on my back. I am also finding the stool is much simpler to get on and off of than the office chair- especially getting up from it after sitting for a prolonged period. There was a learning curve for me with the stool, with me making sure I had grabbed the front side of it prior to lowering myself down on it, so it wouldn’t skitter away from under me. I am a pretty clumsy person, so I wanted to be careful. But now that I am used to it, that is no longer an issue (though I will continue to be careful, as I don’t have a ton of muscle tone, so- better safe than sorry.) And it rolls! It rolls around great- even on carpet, even on the heavy tarp in the art studio. Even with larger me sitting on it- it rolls just fine, in any direction. It’s actually pretty fun, lol! And again, this stool takes up a lot less room than an office chair would. I find I am using this stool for many other purposes, as my back goes out if I stand for too long. I have used it at the stove for cooking something I need to keep an eye on, and also for chores like cleaning out cabinets, and the inside of the refrigerator, etc. This stool is a real help to me, as my lack of mobility is draining and discouraging, and I can’t get a lot done during the day. My body just gives out. So you could say that this stool has enriched my life in ways I wasn’t anticipating. If you are on the fence about buying it, and also if you are on the larger size, I say- go for it! This stool has made my life a lot easier. I am very glad I purchased this KKTONER stool, and I highly recommend it.

Perfect for me for tattooing. Easy to build, material seems durable.
Perfect stool for my use case which is tattooing. At first I thought the seat was a little firm, but after using for a few days it softened up and now feels great. Super easy to build. Looks nice as well. Absolutely great value. The wheels roll easily on my thinner carpet and of course hardwood floor. So far the material has held up strongly, and the stool feels sturdy. The size of the seat is just right as well, if it was any smaller I might not like it. It can be set low, or set pretty high for taller people or someone needing a taller stool.

Great for the price
Let's be clear, it's not beefy... it's a reasonably cheap stool. But for me it's great. The seat is pretty comfortable (fairly firm) and the adjustment works well. The wheels move smoothly. I feel stable and mobile (i scoot between the ends of my workbench) I think if you weigh over 200lbs... it prob won't last, but for smaller folks I think it's great.

Very sturdy, comfy stool on wheels. Holds 340 lbs easily. Looks good for arcade cabinet.
I had many goals for a good stool. This hit all my goals: 1. Rolls! I need to move my stool a lot. I'm using it for multiple stations and VR. 2. Easily fits in a compartment/bay area underneath a desk/shelf. 3. Holds 340+ lbs without dropping to the lowest height. 4. Looks like it belongs in an arcade. This was a bit iffy as most arcades didn't have rolling stools at all, but this stool looked close enough for my taste. 5. Very smooshy seat/cushion. On top of all that, it swivels very well and was easy to assemble. It came with all the tools needed for assembly. That said, it might be easier to assemble with an electric drill, but I did fine with the included wrenches. Overall, I love this stool and I'd be tempted to buy another one someday.

Useful, Sturdy Stool.
Great stool for so many uses around the home and even garage. If you have bad knees this helps you navigate throughout your kitchen while preparing meals and cleaning. Love it. Great price, sturdy and very nice looking. The wheels easily glide, the cushion is soft yet firm enough. I would be careful bending over too much while seated. Love the ability to raise and lower the seat height. Great product.Useful, Sturdy Stool.

It is what it says, and 2 years later I love it! ❤️
UPDATE JAN 2026: Love this stool - Lifesaver -after back surgery and 2 years later it still a great, 5 star item. Once I got used to how it rolls I have no problems with it. You can't roll it around easily on carpet while sitting, but I mostly need it to sit down in one place on carpeting while I complete a task. You can easily move it from room to room by just raising it all the way up and pushing the seat to move it around. I have grown accustomed to lowering it by just putting one leg over the middle of it, sit down and lower. My duct taped mark as to where that handle is the key - I make sure now it is turned to be easily reachable before sitting. You'll want to grab this seat from between your legs and pull it under you, or have it up against something to prevent slipping. __________ For me, I find this rolls a little too easily for me on vinyl flooring. On carpet, I could not move it much at all. But I have issues with my back and I got this so that I can get into my refrigerator's bottom freezer door without bending over or doing a lot of reaching. For that it works well as long as I am careful to grab the seat and hold it to sit down correctly. I wish there was a way to slow down the wheel movement a bit. This was super easy to put together. Just attach the seat bracket with 4 screws and allen wrench provided, and push the wheels into base. The center piece slides in place with need for attachment. (Take the black cap off the top smaller end which the seat pushes on to). Two other things: 1) There is no wheel lock at all, wish there was one that could easily be foot kicked off&on. 2) The adjustment handle is very hard to locate once you sit down. I just put some duct tape on mine which does not look great, but now I know where the handle is. Another issue with the handle when you raise it up, there is no way to lower it again without sittting on it - hand pressure alone won't move it down at all.

Quality seems good, but it broke
The stool itself is very comfortable, easy to put together and easy to operate. Rolls very nicely and feels super sturdy under my body. However, it broke. Whatever mechanism allows it to stay down in a position broke (only have had it for a year) and the stool no longer stays down. It goes down when I sit on it but I am short so I end up having to hold it, and slide my butt back on it every time I take a seat.
