Teen Titans 4: Light and Dark the New 52

It was.....kinda a bad read. To be honest, Scott Lobdell carried the series as well as superboy quite well in the new 52 for the N.O.W.H.E.R.E arcs and even for the joker arc. But this arc felt off. Almost as if he was rushing it. He just jumped from one event to the other, skipped a lot of details that could have made the story really good, rushed the development of his characters, and character decisions as well as story progression was not natural (and by this I mean so much detail was left out that not only did it feel very rushed, but made you question why any character made the choices they made). Add to the fact that the battles really wasn't that great and everything seemed to move just for the sake of plot.It really wasn't that good as opposed to earlier parts of the series, the art wasn't that great either so as to compliment the horrible storytelling, but its one redeemable feature is that it is part of a ongoing series and somewhat sets up to upcoming arcs. I believe that if Scott Lobdell was given a good 3-4 more issues, he could have made this much better, I will still continue the series as one bad arc doesn't mean an entire series is bad, but so much happened which made no sense, it does leave a bad taste as to where the story intends to go from here.

It was just an okay read. The storyline and how the main characters acted was different compared to the first three volumes. It made it hard to follow what happen at the end of death of the family. One more thing is that I didn't like the art work of the comic book. It got better at the end but still not as good as the first three. That is why I rated gave it a three star rating.

Good reboot of the gang. Gives a more up to date feel for the print volume. I like the higher level of importance of the group. I know its a comic but it did move a little too fast.

My boys are into comic books and these are the hottest thing right now. A little thicker than a typical comic book, but still animated and easy to read. Fun stories for the kids.

RAVEN!!!! i am a huge fan of Raven. seeing her new look and her storyline join the titans was amazing. i am really impressed with this series

This volume introduces Raven to the team, and her father as Villain for the Titans.

I've got this whole run and just not keen on what they've done with the characters and it's all a bit meh. I think half the characters are edgy? But it's a bit boring.
